I do this twice a year in January and July usually, but not always.
Top 25 J-Pop Idols:
25. Ami Tanimoto (Tsubaki Factory).
She’s getting prettier and sexier every time I see her, I’m glad she’s doing bikini shoots now. Hope she does a lot more.
24. Hazuki Sakamoto (Wa-Suta).
I saw her about 2 months ago at Anime North in Toronto, she look like she lost a lot of weight. She look really skinny, that’s not reason why I like her. She was always the one in Wa-Suta I always notice, maybe because she look the most different. I just think she’s so cute.
She has the same birthday as me
23. Saya Yamashita (Yumemiru Adolescence).
So many members in Yumemiru Adolescence I like, for a while now she’s been my favorite. And that’s saying a lot.
22. Moca (lol).
I’m not into mixed J-Pop groups, Moca is the only reason I’m taking any interest in “lol”. I just think she so cute, with sex appeal.
21. Asuka Saito (Nogizaka46).
On August 10th, it’s the birthday of Nogizaka46 youngest 1st Generation Member. Happy 21st Birthday in advance, Asuka.
20. Sakura Seta (Batten Show Jo Tai).
I really like her, but it’s really hard to find anything new on her. In fact it’s really hard to find anything on “Stardust Promotion” idol groups, maybe with the exception of “Team Shachi”. Maybe, I just don’t know where to look.
19. Luna Naito (Rock A Japonica / B.O.L.T).
This really sucks Rock A Japonica disbanded on April 29, due 2 members graduating Ami Uchiyama & Ruka Shiina. I really like Ami Uchiyama, her and Luna look so cute together. The 3 remaining members of Rock A Japonica formed a new unit “B.O.L.T”, with 2 new members.
18. Momota Kanako (Momoiro Clover Z).
She still has cutest dimples in the whole wide world.
Earlier this month July 12th, was her Birthday. Happy belated 25th Birthday, Momota.
17. Yui Oguri (AKB48).
She was very heavily push about a year ago, I wouldn’t say it’s stop. Now, it’s nowhere close to what it was before. It sucks I like her a lot, the more I see her the better.
16. Koumi (Kolme).
As far as I’m concern very few J-Pop Idols have more sex appeal then her.
15. Mion Mukaichi (AKB48).
I miss her doing bikini shoots, she was such a turn-on in a bikini.
14. Miyuki Watanabe.
I’m back to following Milky on a regular basis again, maybe not that much. I think I said this before in the entire AKB48 family she’s the one I enjoyed following the most, I think I said the same about Mayu. But it really was Milky. She’s cute, sexy & funny (Sounds like Sasshi).
With Kei Jonishi. 2 Former NMB48 sexpot.
13. Rikako Sasaki (Angerme).
She was so easy and fun to follow before, now it seems a little harder. I don’t mean that in any negative way, hard to explain.
12. Mai Ozeki (Country Girls).
I don’t like her lack of activities, maybe that’s just the way she likes it. Although if you check out “Country Girls” twitter account, it doesn’t seem like it.
11. Renon Kurita (Jumping Kiss).
Not that long ago for a good period of time, was I ever checking her out. I kinda stop not because I lost interest in her, she hasn’t been around for to long so I could only find so much stuff on her. Although she just turn 12 years old on July 25th, Happy belated Birthday Renon. She’s not the youngest to make my J-Pop Idol rankings (I check), probably the 2nd youngest.
I was reluctant to ranked her this high, but I have to go with my feelings.
This sucks, I just found this out. She’ll be graduating.
10. Rei Inoue (Kobushi Factory).
She really looks nice with her bangs down.
On July 15th, it was her Birthday. Happy belated 18th Birthday, Rei.
9. Yuu (Qumalidepart).
Yes I’m still heavily into her, and it looks like it will still last a lot longer. She cut her hair short she looks nice, nut I prefer her with long hair.
8. Yume Hashimoto (Devil ANTHEM).
I like her, I just can’t stop checking her out. She seems like the kind of girl I could take to a dinner date or something like that, then a movie. I don’t know what made me say that, when I saw her that just came up.
7. Nao Sakura (Team Shachi).
I was talking about Yume the kind of girl I like to take on a dinner date, and Cheeky Parade Asami Watanabe I like to have as a wife. A few others like that, but I don’t want to make this too long. Nao still the one I’d like to hang out with, and take to J-Pop concert or something like that.
6. Mai Shiraishi ( Nogizaka46).
Poor Mai, she’s the only one I can’t think of anything to say about.
5. Maria Makino (Morning Musume).
I wish I wasn’t so broke, so many good Maria Makino merchandise I want to get. It’s hard not to like her she’s sexy & fun, and loves Baseball.
4. Miki Shimomura (Fairies).
She’s in a Theater Musical “Little Woman”, which also stars some other J-Pop idols. I wish I lived in Japan, this is something I would have love to watch.
I’m glad her hair is long again, I like her so much better with long hair.
3. Meru Tashima (HKT48).
So far this year it seems like it’s a slow year for her (Not doing such of significant to me), I check her out almost all the time. She does a lot of post in social media sites or anything related to that, and their all very entertaining and funny.
2. Hitomi Arai (Tokyo Girls’ Style).
She seems like the kind of girl that likes to be in the center of attention.
It was just about 5 years ago that I met her, I still have to say meeting her is my biggest J-Pop thrill experience, Along with watching AKB48 in Concert and meeting Yurina Kumai of Berry Koubou.
1. Yuki Kashiwagi (AKB48).
I know she did one recently, how often does she still perform at AKB48 Theater.

My Top 30 J-Pop Groups :
20. Sunmyu.
When they first came out I really followed them, they`re first few years they were very active. The last few years not so, they`ve grown up to be pretty young women.19. OnePixcel.
I`ve always like them from the beginning, even way before I saw them about a year ago. Seeing them was like, made me even like them a lot more. I still remember seeing and meeting Nanami Tanabe, such a flirt.18. BiSH.
They can be really cute. I`ve been paying a lot of attention to Ayuni D lately.17. Tacoyaki Rainbow.
When they first came, out I was really into them. Then I lost interest, I been getting back into them this year. Sakura Ayaki is still my favorite member, I had a such a crush on her in the beginning.16. NMB48.
All the members that I followed on a regular basis Milky, Kei Jonishi & Sayaka Yamamoto are all gone. Now and then I check up on Miru Shiroma I don`t think it`s gonna get anymore than that. I don’t how much longer I can say interested in them, I’m trying too. Releasing a single in a couple of weeks will help.15. Kobushi Factory.
As long has Rei Inoue remains in group, my interest in them will remain. I love their music I listen to them all the time. Minami Nomura is on hiatus right now, with an eye infection. I don’t think it’s very serious she should be back in the very near future.14. SKE48.
As a group I really don’t follow them, I never did. They have few members I like and check on quite a bit.13. Tokyo Girls’ Style.
They don’t get a lot of publicity, but you can tell they really want it.12. Wa-Suta.
I like them even before I saw them 2 months ago. I kinda resented them in the beginning, I felt iDOL Street was favouring them over Cheeky Parade. IDOL Street really pisses me off sometimes.11. Tsubaki Factory.
Only Ami Tanimoto made my Top 25 J-Pop Idols ranking, it could have been either Yumeno Kishimoto or Mao Akiyama those three are all very close. They have good music, it’s good but I find it funny somehow. They actually have a few songs, I just have to laugh. It’s a good thing.10. Fairies.
I can’t say their my type of Idol group, but I really enjoy following and watching them.9. Tokyo Performance Doll.
I think my interest in them as diminished a bit for now, I try to keep up to date with them.
8. Nogizaka46.
Have they replace AKB48 or something, AKB48 cancels they’re election single in late May. Instead Nogizaka46 releases a single in it’s place, Nogizaka46 will be releasing a single in the first week of September (or late August) which is the time that a AKB48 releases a single.7. HKT48.
With Sasshi & Haruka Kodama (She was on hiatus more than a year) graduating, and Sakura Miyawaki & Nako Yabuki on hiatus for more than 2 years. They’re line-up still looks pretty good.6. Momoiro Clover Z.
I’m getting a bit interested in them again, for me it’s been up, down, up, down with them the last few years.5. Devil ANTHEM.
Right now, actually it’s been a long while now. They’re probably the J-Pop Idol group I’m enjoying following.4. Yumemiru Adolescence.
If I did a ranking of all the members in a group 1-10 and average it out within the group, I think they would come out on Top. Kyouka who graduated in April will hurt, but I think they’ll still come out on Top.3. SUPER GiRLS.
They lost 5 members early this year 2 of the my favorites, added 7 new members nothing as change. One thing great about SUPER GiRLS, you know they’ll release a summer single with bikinis. It’s been like that since 2011, their was that exception of one year.
I never realize how pretty, hot and sexy Koume Watanabe is. I guess she got overshadowed by Nana Asakawa & Rina Miyazaki with those 2 gone. I’m really taking notice.2. Morning Musume.
They just added 3 new members last month Homare Okamura, Mei Yamazaki & Rio Kitagawa. They currently have 14 members, I think they had 14 members before. No more than that, I think.1. AKB48.
AKB48 should be ineligible, honestly I don’t know what they are anymore. I don’t where it starts (Ok, I do. Maybe), I definitely don’t know where it ends.
