AKB48 Group Unit Janken (Paper, Scissors & Rock) Tournament 2017.

This was held on September 24th, at Nippon Gaishi Hall, Nagoya, Japan. I’m a week late, at that time I just got back from a long vacation and didn’t have the time to this this. Til now.

I was going to pass on this post it looks a little confusing at first, it’s a little different this year. Members can form group or units either alone or with other members, I don’t think their is a limit on the amount of members you can have on a unit.

As for the Tournament itself it’s divided up into 4 Blocks with 12 units in each Block , with the winner in each Block advancing to the Final Four.

She graduated last month on August 30th, since it was at the end of the month. I’ll rank her this month. I like her, I’ll miss her, I wish her “The Best Of Luck”.

I know a lot of fans are pissed off about her scandal, no one needed to know. Blamed the Japanese tabloids, she’s not the first idol and won’t be the last idol to go out like this. As for her breaking the rules and not being very idol like or garbage like that, don’t tell me your that naïve about the J-Pop Idol world. She got caught, blamed the Japanese tabloids. Damned those Japanese tabloids.

I kinda wish I was Japanese Idol fan born and raised in Japan, then maybe I have better understanding of this.29. Ranze Terada (Nogizaka46 – 2nd Generation).

My J-Pop Summit in San Francisco 2017.

They had the J-Pop Summit at Fort Mason Center in San Francisco later than usually this year, on September 9th & 10th. During my birthday.

Saturday September 9, 2017.

I got here around 11:30 am cause I wanted to get Meet & Greet tickets for Babyraids Japan which 100 were available and 50 for Misakai Iwasa, the line up was long and it was going very slow. I decided to get it later I didn’t want to miss Babyraids Japan opening the J-Pop Summit festival, which was at the main stage at 12:00 pm. They perform one song, they were on stage for about 10 minutes. After that I ran back to the “Kinokuniya” booth were they were selling the mechandise, if you bought one Babyraids Japan item you got a Meet & Greet Ticket. For Misaki Iwasa buying 1 item got you an autograph if you bought 2 items you could get an autograph & a photo with her, I thought the Misaki Iwasa tickets were sold out. So I just got a Babyraids Japan CD and a picture of the group, when I was paying for it I ask if they still had any Misaki Iwasa Meet & Greet tickets they said yes, so I went to grab one of her CD and hand fan with a picture of her. When I was getting these they announced that all the Babyraids Japan tickets just sold out. Just got those in time.

Then after I bought my Meet & Greet tickets it was back to the main stage, to watch Band Maid Q & A. When that was done it was off to the VIP Lounge for May’n group photo session, it was a group photo no solo’s. I was a little disappointed about that one, it was nice meeting her. Unfortunately for her autograph session which came after the photo session, I wasn’t lucky enough to win a autograph ticket which was only 10 per day. It was the same thing for Band Maid. Then I guess around 1:30 pm at the Travel Pavilion Mini Stage I watch Azumi Inoue and Yuyu her daughter, basically it was a mini concert and Q & A sort of. Then it was back to the main stage to watch Misaki Iwasa Q & A she was so nice and cute, she couldn’t stop waving and smiling at everyone. Misaki Iwasa Q & A went on for about 20 minutes. Then I notice at the travel pavilion it look like something was happening, so I stayed to see. Luckily I did LinQ was to go on stage soon it’s actually 3 members that just graduated very recently from LinQ they were Kokoro Araki, Ayaka Ooba & Mayu Kishida. I knew they would be here and the J-Pop Summit at the Fukuoka booth I just didn’t know when and where to catch them, I think their ambassadors for Fukuoka or something. They perform 3 songs I must admit at this J-Pop Summit event watching them perform was the most enjoyable experience I had, at the Travel Pavilion mini stage their were very few people there. So basically I was in front of them to watch them perform and I was so close, it was the same thing the next day. They made me almost miss my Band Maid photo session not once but twice. Band Maid photo session was suppose to be from 3:00 pm – 4:15 pm, LinQ got on stage just before 3:30 pm and perform for about 15 miniutes. Then I wanted to get their photo at their booth, it look like nothing was a happening yet. So I’ll come back later, so I went to the VIP lounge for the Band Maid photo session when I got there at around 3:50 pm they were done. I ask if I still could get my photo with the group, they said to come back at 4:05 pm. I guess I would get it before their autograph session started at 4:15 pm. So I went to back to Fukuoka booth and see if I could get a photo with LinQ, the staff person that was taken pictures with me with the group with my camera. Kinda went nuts and started taken a whole bunch of pictures which was great so I got a few photos with them, then we started chatting they’re telling me I should go Fukuoka all this and all that. Then I started to think about Band Maid photo session, luckily someone interrupted so I said my goodbye kindly. I don’t know what time I got to the VIP Lounge but Band Maid wasn’t their yet or not ready yet, anyways I got my photo with the group before they stared their autograph session.

Before heading to the main stage to watch Azumi Inoue & Yuyu, I went to the iichiko booth to catch YANAKIKU and got a picture and a autograph. Then at around 4:30 pm, it was back to main stage to watch Azumi Inoue & Yuyu mini concert. Yuyu perform an original composition that hasn’t been release so her Mom said, it was just Yuyu and a guitar. Wow, can she ever play the guitar. I was taking surprise by that, they were a lot fun watch. Before watching them I was 50/50 about getting a ticket for their Meet & Greet tommorrow, after the mini concert I decided I will to show my support for them. Then it was off to Misaki Iwasa Meet & Greet which stared at 5:00 pm, I like to be at end or near the end of the line up. Her Meet and Greet was great she was very nice always smiling took her time signing and she signing everything you had, I don’t think she had a limit on how many items you could get sign. She sign the CD cover and and the picture that came with the CD inside. I also had a big hand fan with a picture of her on it that I bought, they also had a smaller one the picture on it was the same as the CD cover so I bought the big one. I like how she wrote “I Love You” on the hand fan, which made feel real good. I think she only wrote “I Love You” on the big hand fan, I think only very few bought that one. It was cheaper buying the small hand fan and the CD, and she also dated everything which was great. When I get an autograph I usually asked it they could date it, with her she just dated it. Then got a picture taken with her, then she shook my hand. She’s the first J-Pop Idol I ever did a handshake with. This was probably my best J-Pop Meet & Greet experience, she was so nice. Her Meet & Greet was suppose to be from 5:00 pm – 5:45 pm, it went way beyond that. She probably didn’t finish til after 6:30 pm. Which was a good thing, I didn’t have to kill anytime before Babyraids Japan concert started.

I’m not going to talk about what happen at the concert at the main stage for Saturday night, except that it was great and enjoyable. I actually only watch Babyraids Japan & Mayn.

The Performers for Saturday night were Zoomadanke 6:10 pm – 6:30 pm, Babyraids Japan 6:35 pm – 7:05 pm, Tokyo Gegegay 7:15 pm – 7:45 pm finally May’n 7:55 pm – 8:35 pm.

I was hoping Babyraids Japan would do “Koyomi no Ue de wa December”, they didn’t they did do “Pretty little baby”.

After May’n performance the final event of the night was J-Pop sing along! with all the guest at the main stage. Which they and we sang that Japanese song in the 1960’s that hit number one in the US “Sukiyaki”. It was a very long day a lot of walking, at the end of the night my foot was hurting actually a lot of my body was hurting.

Their were less events today, hopefully less reading for you. And less typing for me.

I arrive around noon time just in time to attend May’n photo session at the VIP Lounge, it was a group picture with about 6 fans. Then I went to buy a Azumi Inoue & Yuyu CD, so I could attend their Meet & Greet in about an hour. I enjoyed watching them at the main & mini stage the day before, just wanted to show my support for them. Then at 1:00 pm I went to the main stage to watch the Team Karaoke Face-Off! competition for about 20 minutes or so, I only went there to see Band Maid who were judging it. Then at 1:30 pm I went to Azumi Inoue & Yuyu Meet & Greet, I should had come a bit earlier. Babyraids Japan was around that area, I don’t know what they were doing there and how long they were there. They left not to long after I got there, so I just got a quick short look at them. Azumi Inoue & Yuyu Meet & Greet was great, they sign the CD Cover of the CD I bought and a postcard they were giving away. Had a handshake and a photo taken with both, meeting them was a very pleasant experience. Then after that I just watch Hiroyuki-Mitsume Takahashi do some kind of painting show, then I just walk around the whole place for about an hour. Trying to kill time til Band Maid photo session which was to start at 2:30 pm, I went there when it started I didn’t want to be late again. Big line up so decide to come back later just before 3:00 pm and just walk around some more, I got my photo with Band Maid very pretty ladies. Then I sat around to rest for about 30 minutes, before going to watch LinQ at the mini stage. At around 3:30 pm I got to the mini stage to watch LinQ perform right at the front, 5 or 10 feet in front of them, they perform the same 3 songs they did yesterday. Of all the performance at the J-Pop Summit, I think LinQ was probably the one I enjoyed watching. Maybe, because I was soo close to them. Then I just sat down for about 30 minutes to rest, before going to Babyraids Japan Meet & Greet which was to start at 4:30 pm.

When I got to the Babyraids Japan Meet & Greet I didn’t go to the line up right away, I just watch them for about 10 or 15 minutes. No photo were allowed I managed to get a few without anyone noticing, I just stood near the photographers that were allowed to take pictures. Their Meet and Greet was one the most amazing experience I ever had at a Meet & Greet, they supplied a special postcard for the group to sign. Rikako Ooya was the first to meet she was so cute she wrote her nickname on the postcard kept saying it & pointing at it. I just nodded and smiled then I finally said “Rikopin”, she said yes I want you to remember that’s me. I think she was trying to win me over or something, she was really nice then a little talk here and there then shook her hand. Then it was Erika Denya little talk like she said Thanks for meeting us and I said Thanks for coming, then shook her hand. Then it was Manatsu Hayashi, you know what when she change her hair to blonde I really didn’t think much of it or take notice of it. Seeing her very close up was like, (Wow) she’s really gorgeous with blonde hair. Actually they were all gorgeous if you think they look really cute and pretty in their pictures, seeing them in person they look even more. I can’t really remember what happen with Nao Takami just little talk here and there I guess, then shook her hand. Then it was my favorite next Rio Watanabe I wanted to say to her “You’re the Best” in Japanese, I forgot how to say it. She was very nice and seem kind of quite very nice smile, shaking her hand felt really good. After I was done still a few fans they had to meet, so I just stood in front of their table and watch them til they were finish. I was surprise I was the only one that did this, I’ve been to a few Meet & Greet before and usually some fans hang around til they’re done. Anyways, Manatsu Hayashi notice me she smile and wave at me so I did the same thing. She did this every time in-between signing an autograph and shaking hand with a fan, I think she was just trying to win a new fan, it work. It seem like we were flirting with each other. I love Babyraids this is probably my best Meet & Greet, it ranks up there with Berryz Koubou. With Berryz it was just Yurina Kumai I was excited about, with them I was excited to meet all of them. I’m still feeling butterflies from their Meet & Greet, to me they were “Larger Than Life”. The only thing I didn’t like was I wasn’t allowed to take pictures of them.

It was still an hour away before Sunday Night concert at the main stage, so I just went outside found a place to take a nap.

Again I’m not going to talk about what happen at the concert, Sunday nights performers were Misaki Iwasa 6:10 pm – 6;35 pm she did AKB48’s Heavy Rotation & Koisuru Fortune Cookie “Enka” style, then it was YANAKIKU 6:40 pm – 7:05 pm I love them, I always enjoy their performance. Then at 7:15 pm – 8:15 pm for some reason the decide to have J-Pop Queen Drag Contest during concert night, so I sat somewhere and rested during that time. Finally Band Maid perform from 8:35 pm – 9:15 pm, add to that about 15 minutes where they were doing sound check. and fooling around with their instruments. During Band Maid performance was probably as crazy as I ever got.

The only thing I didn’t like about this year J-Pop Summit I wasn’t able to take as much pictures as I wanted for one thing you weren’t allowed to take pictures at the main stage, they didn’t mention this til Saturday afternoon. So if you were able to catch Babyraids Japan at noon to open the event on Saturday great, after that no more photos at the main stage. Also you weren’t allowed to take pictures of Babyraids and Band Maid anywhere really they had a staff member with them at all times. That may not seem like a big deal, it just that before you were free to take pictures of anything and anyone. Without anyone saying anything.

Overall I enjoy the event, just like previous 2 times I’ve attended this event.

AKB48 9th Single “#SukiNanda”, First Week Sales.

* I’m suppose to be driving to San Francisco right now, your probably wondering how I manage to do this post. I decided to fly down instead, leaving Friday Morning. Found a cheap package deal.

AKB48 49th single “#SukiNanda”, which was release on August 30th. Sold 1,089,729 copies in it’s first week of release to ranked number one, on the weekly oricon singles chart. This is the single where fans got to vote on who they wanted to participate in the single 1-16 Senbatsu, 17-32 Under Girls, 33-48 Next Girls, 49-64 Future Girls, 65-80 Up Coming Girls. On the oricon photo book rankings, Morning Musume Member Maria Makino Photo Book “Senko Hanabi” ranked number 9 with 1,697 sales. You know I got this one, is this better than the one she release last year. About the same, I expected more since this was her 1st major photo book release. I definitely wasn’t disappointed by this. Although I thought the price was a bit much for this.

Now I can’t wait to get Tomomi Itano latest photo book which I think was release a week earlier than Maria’s. It looks pretty good, I didn’t find out about it til later on. So I order it a bit later than Maria’s which I pre-ordered in late July, I know your interested so. Tomomi Itano photo book is rank number 6 with 2,490 sales, last week it ranked 2nd with 5,105 sales.

HKT48 10th single “Kiss wa Matsu Shikanai no Deshou ka”, which was release on August 2nd. Sold 199,504 copies in it’s first week of release, to ranked number one on the weekly oricon singles charts. It’s their first single to sell less than 200,000 copies in it’s week of release, just missed it by about 500 copies. Hana Mstsuoka is center for this single, I thought this was her first. It’s her second I forgot that she was also center for the single “Saikou ka yo”, glad to see Meru Tashima back has senbatsu.

NMB48 3rd album “Namba Ai ~Ima, Omou Koto, which was release on August 2nd. Sold 159,387 copies in it’s first week of release, to ranked number one on the weeklr oricon album charts. When it comes to new materials I thought Keyakizaka46 album was bad (I double check it, it wasn’t that Bad), this one is even worse. This one is really bad it has only 3 new songs on all versions combine, 4 if you include the Theater Edition.

In other SNH48 news according to SNH48 official site, JiaMin Zhao is still on hiatus. It’s been a year now, like she’s ever coming back. I like their optimism, honestly I hope she does come back.

My Favorite Top 25 J-Pop Idols and Top 20 J-Pop Artist, July 2017.

I do this twice a year in January and July, Ok 1t’s the 2nd day of August. Wasn’t fast enough to get this done before August came, so you know I rush this a little bit. I just hope I didn’t overlook anyone. I don’t think I did it, although I rush this. I did check my list about 3 times to make sure who I wanted here, was here.

This will be very interesting to do since 4 of the Top 12 from the last time I did this ranking, have graduated from their respective groups. Also I had a very tough time on ranking the last 5 position, there were about 12 candidates for that position. I’m satisfied with whom I choose and where I ranked them.

25. Sakura Oda (Morning Musume).

I just can’t get enough of looking at her, she’s so sweet and nice. I don’t anyone that didn’t melted after meeting her, I did.24. Sakura Seta (Batten Show Jo Tai).

I’ve like her from the first time I heard about “Batten Show Jo Tai”, it was just a matter of time when she got ranked here.

23. Moe Kamikokuryo (Angerme).

Another very sweet girl, she’s the reason that I’m back to remotely being interested in Angerme (S/milage) again. Actually make that her and Rikako Sasaki.22. Mizuki Fukumura (Morning Musume).

The Leader of Morning Musume, before I met her in Houston last year. I wasn’t interested or even took notice of her. I probably wouldn’t even recognize her, after meeting her that all change. I guess she’s one of those you got to see very close in a person, to appreciate just how beautiful she is. She was the first member that I met, I think I froze for a bit. I just remember her talking to me, but wasn’t hearing anything. I just continued to stare at her, for a bit. I was very nervous about meeting the group, she had a way of making you feel more relax. Which help when I got to the other members.

Anyways after meeting her I started to really follow her and check her up quite a lot, I still do check up on her quite a bit.21. Rei Inoue (Kobushi Factory).

She’s been my favorite Kobushi Factory member right from the beginning, although earlier this year (even as soon as a couple of weeks ago) it look like Ayano Hamaura may dethrone her. But recently she has widened the gap little by little by day.

I have to say this I find her sexually appealing, always have.

A couple of weeks ago July 17th, was her Birthday. Happy Sweet 16th Belated Birthday, Rei.20. Kyouka (Yumemiru Adolescence).

She’s not as hot as Yuumi Shida, or I think as cute as Karin Ogino. She does it for me.

I rarely buy Photo Books, Buy for some reason I bough hers.19. Honoka Akimoto (Team Syachihoko).

For some reason I’m starting to get back into her, actually it’s been long a while now. I actually forgot just how pretty I thought she was.18. Misato Misaki (drop).

She seems unusual and weird, but I love her and think she’s really cute.17. Mai Ozeki (Country Girls).

She’s just getting prettier and prettier by the day.16. Rio Watanabe (Babyraids JAPAN).

My interest in her and Babyraids Japan had been declining a little bit, til I found out they’re coming to J-Pop Summit this year. I’m excited right now, just thinking about seeing and meeting her.15. Risa Yamaki (Country Girls).

I’m a little confused and a little concern with what’s going on with Country Girls right now, especially members Risa and Mai Ozeki. It seems like that Country Girls activities is going to become very limited.14. Mayu Watanabe (AKB48).

She has announced her graduation, I’d still like to know what’s become of her sole single. That they mention a long, long time ago.13. Kanako Momota (Momoiro Clover Z).

July 12th, was her Birthday. Happy Belated 23rd Birthday, Kanako.

She still brings a smile to face.12. Nao Sakura (Team Syachihoko).

She’s definitely the kind of girl I want to Hangout with and has have as a companion.

11. Seira Jonishi (Tokyo Performance Doll).

It was just over a year ago, I met her at the J-Pop Summit last year. I’m feeling a little excited just thinking about it.

In about a couple of weeks August 14th, it’s her Birthday. Happy 21st Birthday in advance, Jonishi.10. Kanna Hashimoto (Rev. from DVL).

Her and Rev. From DVL have been pretty quiet this year so far, although she was in movie earlier this year.9. Meru Tashima (HKT48).

She just open a twitter account in June, just like her Goggle+ account she’s always updating it. And posting cool interesting pictures, in a way you could say she’s probably the only one I’m checking up on a regular basis. I’ve been checking her Google+ account almost everyday for about 2 years now, and now her Twitter also. I always check it before a I start work, it just makes me feel so much better.8. Mai Shiraishi (Nogizaka46).

I really like to know just how popular she is Japan now or even before, I remember several years ago reading she was by far the most popular Nogizaka46 member in Japan. But it didn’t seem like it, now it doesn’t even seem like she’s in the Top 3. Maybe her fans are just very quiet like me.7. Asami Watanabe (Cheeky Parade)

My wife has been looking pretty Hot, very sexy lately.6. Ai Negishi (PASSPO).

I’m having a very difficult time finding any new news on her, her Birthday is on the same day as Asami Watanabe.5. Miki Shimomura (Fairies).

She cut her hair short very early this year, and she looks really cute with it. But I hope she grows it long again.4. Maria Makino (Morning Musume).

Maria is releasing a Photo Book really soon, pre ordered it already. She’s been doing a lot of bikini shoots the last year or so, so I’m happy really happy about that. I just can’t get enough of this girl.3. Haruna Iikubo (Morning Musume).

Talking about photobooks, I bought hers earlier this year. I had a very bad experience buying it, it came to the point. I just wanted to say screw it and not get it, if it was any other idol I may have. I just had to get this.2. Hitomi Arai (Tokyo Girls’ Style).

For fans of her that don’t check her Twitter, I recommend you should. She’s always updating it, and she usually post some good pictures.1. Yuki Kashiwagi (AKB48).

For those of you who thought this was expected, it wasn’t. I actually considered ranking Hitomi Arai number one, yes I like Hitomi Arai that much. As for Yuki Kashiwagi I really like her just as much as always, it’s just that she’s not in the news as much as before. It shouldn’t matter, but I think it does. My Top 20 J-Pop Artist :

20. There There Theres.

The idol group formerly know as “BELLING Girls Heart”, I’ve been a fan of BELLING Girls Heart for a few years. Anyways 3 members graduated at the end of last year, then on February of this year added 2 new members and renamed the group to it’s current name. I’m still warming up to the new members, they lost a couple of members who I really like a lot. They’re still unusual and entertaining as ever.19. Niji no Conquistador.

Fun and entertaining group, can’t wait for their summer single to come. I wasn’t into her before, I’ve getting into Nagi Nemoto the last few months. She’s hot.18. Babyraids JAPAN.

They’ll be coming to J-Pop Summit in San Francisco later on this year, I’m getting very excited about this. For the last 3 or 4 years I’ve been requesting them to invite them and Fairies over, very few idol groups I’d like to see perform more than Babyraids. Honestly I’m looking forward to seeing Rio Watanabe more than anything.17. Keyakizaka46.

Honestly, just like most people I’m also surprise how fast they’ve come to where they are now. And I like that they seem a little different than Nogizaka46, they’re like a “Dark Nogizaka46”. Unlike the 48 groups, I think this was what NMB48 was meant to be. But they got lost in their direction (or Chicken out), and just screwed it all up.16. Tokyo Girls’ Style.

Ever since they decided to makes changes almost 2 years ago, I found them kinda boring. That’s nothing new for a few years when I started to get into them, I found them boring. But I like them, especially my sweetheart “Hitomi Arai”. When you added it all up, only about 15 months I didn’t find them boring. I’m exaggerating and making an inside joke, It’s not as I make it sound to be.15. Kobushi Factory.

July was not a good month for Kobushi Factory as Rio Fijii left the group on July 6th, she’s the first member to leave the group since they formed in January 2015. On July 15th Rena Ogawa when on hiatus for health reasons, her hiatus will only be for about a month.14. NMB48.

I found them hard to follow ever since Milky left, and when Kei Jonishi graduated it got a lot worse. But they still have a few members I still really like, and check on now and then.13. Fairies.

Sora Nomoto has been looking pretty hot and sexy lately.12. SKE48.

With some few new members, I think future is looking good as ever.11. Country Girls.

I’m a little worried and concern about their future, in June Momoko Tsugunaga graduated from Country Girls and Hello! Project. And also 3 members would become concurrent members with other Hello! Project groups.

Chisaki Morito will become a concurrent member with Morning Musume, I think just like Morning Musume even more.

Thanks to Asuka Saito, my interest in Nogizaka46 has been rejuvenated. Not that I was losing interest in them, it’s just that I haven’t been feeling this way about Nogizaka46 since I started following them. Seems like she just brought some freshness in my interest in Nogizaka46.9. Tokyo Performance Doll.

They will be releasing a single next month, it looks like a good one. I wish my J-Pop Idol ranking was a Top 30, they had a few members I wanted to included, like Nana Takahashi. She can speak english, I had very short chat with her at J-Pop Summit last year. It was very short, but enough to make a memory.8. PASSPO.

I think a lot of activities, as for any mew news that you can talk about. Hard to find.7. HKT48.

From what I’m reading and hearing, they’re future doesn’t look good.6. Yumemiru Adolescence.

Rei Kobayashi has come from her hiatus in June, unfortunately Akari Yamada officially left the group in March. I liked her too.5. Cheeky Parade.

Cheeky Parade Seran Mizorogi & Momoka Kodakari left the group on June 9th, I like those 2 a lot. I kinda expected this from Seran Mizorogi for a long while now it was just a matter of when, as for Momoka Kodakari it was a complete surprise. This really sucks, it really does.

Marin Yamamoto & Mariya Suzki are still on hiatus in Los Angeles, USA. They should be coming back next year, til then Cheeky Parade will a 5 member group.4.  Momoiro Clover Z.

I still like them a lot and still find them very entertaining, but I’m not having as much fun as I was following them.3. SUPER GiRLS.

My interest in them was rejuvenated over a year ago, it’s probably at an all time now. With no signs of falling in the near future, Nana Asakawa may have something to do with this. They did lose Ami Maeshima who graduated in March, whom I really like a lot.

2. AKB48.

The AKB48 now is definitely not the same AKB48 in 2011, when I started to get into them. They’re still fun to follow, theirs quantity if not quality.1. Morning Musume.

Still not sure what to think about the 13th Generation members Kaede Kaga & Reina Yokoyama, haven’t warmed up to them yet. Then theirs the 14th Generation Member (concurrent member from Country Girls) Chisaki Morito. She really looks good as a Morning Musume, you know what “I think she’ll become Morning Musume center”.

SKE48 21st single “Igai ni Mango”, which was release on July 19th. Sold 272,872 copies in it’s first week of release to ranked number one, on the weekly oricon singles chart. Cute little Yuna Obata is center for this single, it’s her first time being center for an SKE48 single. I believe this will be Masana Oya final SKE48 single, who announced her graduation about a month ago. When she’ll actually graduated from the group, I don’t know.

I like this single a lot.

Keyakizaka46 1st Album “Masshirona Mono wa Yogoshitaku Naru”, First Week Sales.Keyakizaka46 1st album ” Masshirona Mono wa Yogoshitaku Naru”, which was release on July 19th. Sold 279,093 copies in it’s first week of release to ranked number one, on the weekly oricon album chart. I must admit I’m very surprise how much they sold.

My only complaint about this album is for the amount of tracks it has from all the versions, which is a lot. Only a handful, and I mean very few are new songs.

With NMB48 Kei Jonishi & AKB48 Haruna Kojima ranking for the last time last month, we get 2 new members here.

30. Ririka Sutou (NMB48 – Team N).

For this spot it was a tough one it was between 2 members, it was very close it could have gone either way. I choose NMB48 Ririka Sutou for no other reason than that I’m liking her just a little more than other member “RIGHT NOW!”.

I actually also considered not including her since she announced her graduation on June 17th, she’s getting married. She’s suppose to graduated just before she gets married, no date for either one yet. I actually find this kinda laughable not that she’s graduating, the whole thing and also they say she’s not pregnant. I don’t think we’ll ever know the whole truth or story about this, I’m a little suspicious of the whole thing. I think Aki-P is getting a little soft, he offered her to stay in the group as a married woman. That would have been very interesting, I think it had more to do with her agency who owns the NMB48 theater.

I’m very curious how this whole thing is going to turn out, down the road. From past experience what management and the member say right now, is usually all rubbish.29. Asuka Saito (Nogizaka46 – 1st Generation).

She’s someone who I’ve wanted and considered ranking the last couple of months, I guess I started to really get into her early this year. I’ve been really into her big time the last few months, I just think she’s really gorgeous and really cute and all so sweet.
