I do this twice a year in January and July, sometimes I just don’t have the time and do it the following month.

She’s a 13th Generation Morning Musume member, although in beginning I thought she was really cute and pretty. It took me a while to get into her.24. Anna Iriyama (22) (AKB48).

She’s been in Mexico for a while now, to study and to co-star in some Mexican TV Comedy “LIKE”, I think it starts airing in early September. Now I have to convince my friends that we should go to Mexico instead of Cuba, in September. Have you seen her hair lately it’s almost like how she had it 4 or 5 years ago, like she ever changes her hair. She does have the most beautiful hair in the world as far as I’m concern.23. Rei Inoue (17) (Kobuashi Factory).

Right now I have to rank her as one of the most Pretties J-Pop Idol, she just gets prettier and prettier. One of my favorite twosome for a threesome is her and Rikako Sasaki of Angerme.

Almost 2 weeks ago July 17th, was her Birthday. Happy 17th belated Birthday, Rei.22. Midoriko (EMPiRE).

I like her I think she’s really cute and pretty, It was love at first sight. I can’t find her actually age anywhere, I think she’s a lot older than I think. I don’t think she’s anywhere near 13 or 14 years old, which was what I thought at first. Every time I do this average age thing theirs always someone who’s age you I just can’t find.21. It doesn’t seem like’s getting that much attention or pushing as before, I don’t like it. I don’t know if I should be worried or not, I’m worried.20. Yume (Yume Hashimoto) (15) (Devil ANTHEM).

I like and think all the members of “Devil ANTHEM” are cute, when you think all the members in a group are cute and someone in particular catches your eye. You know she’s special or I think she’s special. And she’s tall, she’s one I’m definitely paying very close attention.19. Rurika Yoshizawa (14) (FuwaFuwa).

A guilty pleasure of mine, for a long time now.18. Sakura Miyawaki (20) (HKT48).

I don’t know if any of you follow that Korean show “Produce 48” I don’t really follow it. It’s like a talent show with members from the AKB48 family and K-Pop Trainees, it’s a competition where they pick 12 girls to form a new girl group. Anyways Sakura is doing very well she ranked 1st in the 1st episode, after 4 episode she’s still in the Top 5. That’s the good news ,the bad news is if she makes the 12 member group she has to stay with this group for 30 months. Sorry, But I can’t see that happen.17. Mion Mukaichi (20) (AKB48).

One of my favorites that I like to fantasize about, definitely my favorite in the AKB48 family, I think.16. Sayaka Yamamoto (25) (NMB48).

Her hair is growing very long now, I love her with long hair. I think it’s the longest I’ve ever seen it.

I just found out about this just now, I could see this coming I just tried not to think about it. On July 30th she announced her graduation, graduation date will be announced later.

15. Kanako Momota (24) (Momoiro Clover Z).

I never knew she did the Japanese voice dubbing of Shuri on Black Panther and Avengers : Infinity War, got to watch those in the Japanese version. Even though I don’t really understand Japanese.

On July 12th, it was her Birthday. Happy belated 24th Birthday, Kanako.14. Seira Jonishi (21) (Tokyo Performance Doll).

I don’t think Tokyo Performance Doll is doing as much activities as before, that’s Ok. She’s keeping busy, it seems like she’s doing a lot of modeling.

In a couple of weeks August 14th, it’s her Birthday. Happy 22nd Birthday in advance Seira.

What’s with Hello! Project and baseball, even she’s getting into it. I’ve mention I like to do a threesome with her and Rie Inoue, what’s better than that. With her and Maria Makino.12. Nana Asakawa (19) (SUPER GiRLS).

I love her, but I find it very frustrating to find anything current or remotely new on her. I’ll say it again, if I could choose one J-Pop Idol to out on a date or just hang out with. It would be her.10. Rio Watanabe (18) (Babyraids JAPAN).

I still remember when I first heard of “Babyraids”, she was so young and cute. She dance with two left feet and seem clumsy, her dancing got a little better over time. Babyraids JAPAN will disbanding in the near future. Which I will get to later on.9. Mai Shiraishi (25) (Nogizaka46).

I like to know what her net worth is or income, especially the last 2 or 3 years. How she ranks among Japanese female celebrities. You think it’s more than Sasshi.

 

 

 

 

 

8. Ai Negishi (25) (PASSPO).

PASSPO will be disbanding in the very near future, which I will get to later on. I hope she just doesn’t disappear, she’s so hot. I just want to see more of her, I just can’t get enough of her.

7. Asami Watanabe (23) (Cheeky Parade).

Will have to look for a new J-Pop wife very soon.

 

 

 

 

 

6. Miki Shimomura (19) (Fairies).

I think she’s growing her hair, it seems longer now than before. I hope so I like her so much better with long hair. It gave her so much more sex appeal.5. Maria Makino (17) (Morning Musume).

Ever since Cheeky Parade Seran Mizorogi graduated more than a year ago, I haven’t had J-Pop girlfriend since. I think I will make it Maria Makino for now, she’s basically has replace Seran Mizorogi has my favorite fantasy J-Pop Idol. Ok, enough of that.

I’m actually taking a little break from Maria Makino, right now I’m just getting a little sick and tired of her almost non-stop overexposure for almost 2 years. Unless your a Makino fan you may not notice it, forget a long period of time. She’s just way too hot to stay away from for even a short period of time.

 

 

 

 

4. Haruna Iikubo (23) (Morning Musume).

For a while there was barely hanging on as my favorite Morning Musume member, with me getting a little sick of Maria Makino and the release of a photo book from her not that long ago. She has put some distance, at least for now. I know I said I stop buying J-Pop stuff temporally for financial reasons, I just had to get her photo book. This was a surprise to me I didn’t know she had one coming till maybe a couple of weeks or month before it’s release, not disappointed at all. Does she ever disappoint me, no not at all.3. Yuki Kashiwagi (27) (AKB48 and NGT48).

Yeah, I Know in my AKB48 ranking I had Maiyan rank ahead of Yukirin. Here I have Yukirin ranked way higher than Maiyan, let’s just say the two rankings don’t really have anything to do with each other, they do in a way but they don’t. First of all the two of them are very close you can add Meru Tashima also, I probably like Yukirin a little more than both of them. I don’t know if this is the word I’m looking for but exposure and publicity, I’ll use magazine photo shoots as an example. Maiyan is basically everywhere in that department for years now, Yukirin has been doing quite a bit lately. For the longest time she was barely doing any, she has solo concert in Shanghai, coming up soon. That has nothing to with AKB48. Anyways this my ranking so be it.

2. Meru Tashima (18) (HKT48).

1. Hitomi Arai (20) (Tokyo Girls’ Style).

Ok, I’m looking back again. I still remember the first I saw her about 4 years ago, I don’t think I was ever has excited about meaning anyone before. Maybe, Berryz Koubou Yurina Kumai. When I first saw her my eyes just lit up, the great thing about this “Meet & Greet” it was so personal. It lasted for about a minute or 2 the other members were also there, that’s beside the point.

Very bad turnover rate, even when they were “Bellring Girls Heart”. They’re very entertaining regards of the line-up.18. Devil ANTHEM.

I like them they’re so cute, love their songs to. My interest in them is growing by day ever so slowly, since I first heard of them.17. Tsubaki Factory.

The members are cute, I like their songs. Not as much as Kobushi Factory.16. Kobushi Factory.

They have a new single that will release on August 8th, can’t wait for it. So far I love all their singles.15. Tokyo Girls’ Style.

I like them a lot, for some reason I find them very frustrating to follow.14. NMB48.

They have some members I like and I follow a bit, NMB48 better come up with something. My interest them …………. Let’s just say it’s not good.13. SKE48.

Jurina Matsui will be going hiatus for health reason, from what I hear I think it has something to do with her bashing Sakura Miyawaki. Why would she do that to sweet, cute Sakura. If they ever wanted her to get out of “Produce48”, this was it. She was actually in a good position and a good chance of making the 12 member group, I can’t remember if she has ever gone on hiatus before. I’m sure she’ll be back before next SKE48 single comes out.12. Fairies.

Don’t like their lack of relevant activities. I was never into Momoka Ito before, lately I’ve taken an interest in her.11. Nogizaka46.

Their singles as reach AKB48 level or has surpass it, I’m very curious how much their next single will sell. Not long to wait since it will be release on August 8th.10. HKT48.

I still think they’re the cutest and most fun group in the entire AKB48 family.9. PASSPO.

Bad news if your PASSPO fans as they will disband on September 22nd, they were a great to follow. Not the last couple of years, they weren’t releasing anything much.8. Tokyo Performance Doll.

Down to 6 members now as Anyu Kobayashi, Saki Shingu & Sakurako Iida Graduated on April 19th.7. Momoiro Clover Z.

I like them better as 5 member group, in fact I like them better when they were a 6 member group. That was such a long time ago. Which brings me to Akari Hayami who graduated from the group in April 2011, she’s the reason I got into this group. Then lost interest in them about 2 weeks later when I read she was graduating. I eventually I got back into them, but that’s another story. Back to Akari she’s getting married.6. Cheeky Parade.

Cheeky Parade will disband on July 31st, which is today. At least I could to see them in concert and actually met them also. Will always treasure those memories.5. Yumemiru Adolescence.

When they added those 3 new members earlier this year, I wasn’t to sure. I love this line-up.4. SUPER GiRLS.

I’m very surprise or how I manage to keep my interest them this high, for this long.3. Babyraids JAPAN.

More sad news, they will disband in late September. It was pleasure to see them in concert and meet them last year in September, at San Francisco. I’ll always remember the little flirting between me and Manatsu Hayashi.2. Morning Musume.

Haruna Ogata graduated from Morning Musume on June 20th, I will miss her. I wish her “The Best Of Luck”.

She was one of my favorites, when I went to see them in Houston a couple of years ago, I was actually looking out for Maria Makino. Will Haruna Ogata was the one that caught my eyes first, I don’t know if that means anything.1. AKB48.

AKB48 are back at number one I’ve been taken a lot more than usually this year, mainly thanks to “Yui Oguri”.

I do this twice a year in January and July, I wasn’t able to do this one in January. I went on a holiday in the last week of January, I wanted to do it before I went on holidays wasn’t ready to. A bit busy when I got back, so wasn’t able to do it til now.

Top 25 J-Pop Idols :

25. Haruka Koizumi (Tokimeki Sendenbu).

Not to be confuse with the one in “Doll Elements”.

When I first got into “Tokimeki Sendenbu”, their were 2 members that I really like Hitoka Sakai and Haruka Koizumi. In the beginning Hitoka Sakai probably had the edge, I think she has more natural beauty. Whereas Haruka Koizumi I think is kinda funny looking but really, really cute looking. The last several months Haruka Koizumi has been pulling away, at least for now. I’m sure in the not to distance future, they’ll be fairly even again.24. Nana Takashima (Tokyo Performance Doll).

The leader of Tokyo Performance doll. I still remember when I first met her in September 2016, in San Francisco. First of all I was really surprise that she could speak English, I talk to her a little bit outside not to long after TPD open the J-Pop summit event. She was really nice and took the time to answer me, when I was talking to her I never felt the sense that she wanted me to stop talking and get lost. Like a stuck up J-Pop bitch.

I probably would rank this as one of my most memorable J-Pop experience right up there with meeting “Cheeky Parade” in New York City.23. Sakura Seta (Batten Show Jo Tai).

I’m just fascinated by her, It’s just one of those things I really can’t explain. Every time I see her I get that feeling, it’s always been this was way since the first time I heard about “Batten Show Jo Tai”. She’s the one that always catches my eye. Yes, I do think she’s really, really cute.

On February 2nd, it was her Birthday. Happy belated sweet 16th Birthday, Sakura.22. Sakura Oda (Morning Musume).

She just release her 2nd photo book a couple months ago, I like seeing that. It means there’s demand for solo stuff from her, and not just with what she does with Morning Musume.21. Mion Mukaichi (AKB48).

She join AKB48 as 15th Generation Kenkyuusei on June 2013, got promoted to Team 4 on April 2014. Which isn’t really that long ago, I’ve been following her fairly regularly since maybe late summer of 2013. So, to me it seems like she been with AKB48 a lot longer.20. Sakura Miyawaki (HKT48).

Cute little Sakura, actually she’s not little anymore. I think she dyed her hair to light brown or reddish or something, I don’t like it. I’m not sure how she has it now, I like her with dark hair even dark brown. And Sakura don’t cut your hair too short.19. Sayaka Yamamoto (NMB48).

It’s been a long time now, she’s keeping a low profile. I’m not following her nearly as closely has before, is there something she’s doing I don’t know about.18. Chisaki Morito (Country Girls / Morning Musume).

A 14th Generation Morning Musume Member, she’s also member of ” Country Girls” who are limited to digital releases only since June 2017. I really like her, she’s cute.

On February 19th, it’s her Birthday. Happy 18th Birthday in Advance, Chii.17. Rena Sato (MAGiCAL PUNCHLiNE).

The Former Idoling!!! member, I didn’t really think much of her when she was with Idoling!!!. It wasn’t until I heard of “MAGiCAL PUNCHLiNE”, I started to get into her, at first I didn’t realize that she was in the group. I think she’s really sexy, HOT!!!!!16. Rikako Sasaki (Angerme).

This is way long overdue, she’s someone who I’ve considered and wanted to include here. Since I first saw and fell in love with her, it was love at first sight. Way back in early 2015.15. Nana Asakawa (SUPER GiRLS).

Who would have imagine 3 even 2 years ago, that she would turn out like this. You can tell she’s been working out the last year or so, her body looks really fine. Her 2nd photo book which will be release next month, was shot in Los Angeles, USA. This looks like a good one, if it’s anything like her 1st photo book. Then it will definitely be a good one.I’d like to know when she was in Santa Monica, I was there in September last year. Why don’t they announce this kind of stuff.14. I find it very frustrating that I can’t find any new or current news of significant on her, like for a couple of years now. Maybe not that long it just seems like it, cause I’m always checking. And I can never find anything of significant.

I met her in September in San Francisco at the J-Pop Summit, now my life is complete. You won’t believe how much I fantasize about her, and how long it’s been. But, I’m not going to get into that.11. Mai Ozeki (Country Girls).

A cousin of Former NMB48 member Kei Jonishi and current NMB48 member Rei Jonishi, Kei sister. Before 2017 I’ve never seen a picture with her and Kei Jonishi together before, the last year or so it seems like they have seen each other a lot. Kei graduated from NMB48 in April 2017, I guess Keicchi has more free time now.9. Ai Negishi (PASSPO).

She release 2 photo books 2013 & 2014, they were both pretty good. I’ve been waiting for a 3rd one for a long time now, what’s going on. She really looks good when she shows a lot of skin.8. Meru Tashima (HKT48).

I’m glad about this, she’s become of significant and of importance again. Now I’m just waiting for a photo book from her, all those magazine photo shoots she’s been doing lately are great. But, I also want a photo book.7. Mai Shiraishi (Nogizaka46).

It may not seem like it cause she’s everywhere, to me it seems like she’s been keeping a low profile inside Nogizaka46.

And what’s this garbage I hear a lot of people trying to speculate when she’ll graduated, “What The Fuck” who wants her graduate. Not me.

A few months ago she release a photo book, of course I had to get it. Not just her all the fairies members did, I never thought I would ever see her in a bikini. It could have been better, but it’s a start. I’ve been dying to see her in bikini, I hope theirs more to come.

The last few days maybe a week,  I’ve been really getting into her and checking her out a lot. I do this with Miki quite often, it’s just matter of how long this one will last. It may last a while she’s been looking very fine lately.4. Maria Makino (Morning Musume).

She just release another photo book this month, getting it. She’s been everywhere for more than a year now. I was going to complain of  overexposure. But, no such thing as too much Maria Makino. Especially seeing her in a bikini.

I had a dream about her a couple of weeks ago when I was on holidays, the dream was actually about “Twice” she just made a cameo appearance. I was in a restaurant with friends and families to watch Twice perform, can you imagine Twice performing in a restaurant. Anyways across where we were sitting I see Hitomi Arai walking to go somewhere, so I just yelled out her name really loud. I thought and expected her to ignore and pretend not to her me, like a stuck up J-Pop Idol bitch. Instead she came over to where I sitting and lean down and look at me in the face making eye contact, I was surprise by this and froze and was speechless for a bit. Then I said I saw you in San Francisco, I can’t remember what she said she was basically thanking me. She was so nice and her smile was so sweet just like how I would imagine it to be. Then she walk away then  few J-Pop Idol groups appeared Houkago Princess, Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku, Koubou Berryz plus a few more that I don’t remember. Then Twice did their performance.1. Yuki Kashiwagi (AKB48 / NGT48).

You don’t really see or hear about her that much anymore, I guess just enough to keep you satisfied. Also she still does a fair amount photo shoots to keep you happy._____________________________________________________________________________________________________

My Top 20 J-Pop Artist :

20. Let’s Poco Poco!.

A sister group of Yurumerumo! (You’ll Melt More!), so I thought they would be worth checking out. I’ll be honest I didn’t think I would like them, they surprise me. I like them better than Yurumerumo!, at least musically. A lot more idol like than Yurumerumo!.19. Tsubaki Factory.

It took me a little while to get into them. They have a few members who I really like, and think are really cute. Yumeno Kishimoto is my favorite member.18. Kobushi Factory.

What’s going on with them they had 3 members who left in the last half of 2017, they’re down to 5 members now. At least the members that I like are still there, Risa Yamaki and Mai Ozeki are looking for a group to join. Honestly I don’t know what the future holds for them, I like them. I hope everything works out OK.17. Keyakizaka46.

To the general public I think they’re way more popular and more like than Nogizaka46.16. Tokyo Girls’ Style.

My only complain about them is lack of activities, and how far in-between they are. They’re releasing a single in a couple of weeks, it looks like a good one.

I’m glad that their management or agency, or whoever does these kind of things final gave them very good cell phones. For the longest time the cell phones they had before was really shit.15. NMB48.

Nothing against Miru Shiroma she’s pretty popular, when she’s your main selling point it’s not a good thing.14. Fairies.

Ok, Momoka Ito release a photo book a couple of years ago with some nice pictures in a bikini. Anyways, each member release a photo book last year. I only got Miki Shimomura, this was group I never expected to do anything like this. They will also release a single in a couple of weeks, pre-ordered the Miki Shimomura version cover already. I know when it comes to Fairies all I talk about is Miki, But I like “Rikako Inoue” a lot also.13. SKE48.

I like the current line-up of SKE48, I’m probably having the most fun following SKE48 now than ever before. With Ryoha Kitagawa, Nao Furuhata, Saki Takeuchi and few others, just wait til Jurina Matsui graduates. I was only being funny I like to bash Jurina, I always do when the opportunity arises, I really do like Jurina a lot.12. Nogizaka46.

It’s pretty amazing when you really think about it, especially with a group this large. Since the release of their 1st single in February 2012, they had very few members of any significant who have graduated. Nanami Hashimoto being the most significant, now Rina Ikoma the center for Nogizaka46 1st 5 single announced her graduation on January 31st. When she’ll leave Nogizaka46, not sure.11. HKT48.

All I’m going to say is I’m happy that Meru Tashima is back to being a significant member again.10. PASSPO.

My interest in them is diminishing, mainly because of lack of activities. I remember a couples of years ago when they were probably the busiest idol group their was.9. Country Girls.

I wasn’t going to include them, because they’re limited to digital releases only. They did release 3 digital singles since June last year, it’s not like 1 or 2 a year. We’ll see what happens in the future. I really don’t know why they did this to Country Girls their sales was pretty good.

And I really don’t like the way they’re treating Risa Yamaki and Mai Ozeki, seems like they are being punish for something. And saying so they can focus on school, maybe for Mai. But Risa, I don’t think so. I’m not saying they’re not doing any activities or have any projects with Hello! Project (solo or otherwise), cause they do. I just want to know why they place 3 of the members in other Hello! Project groups, and not these two. Maybe, school is the real reason.

For Mai I think I may know why, as for Risa apart from just wanting to get rid of her. I really don’t know.8. Tokyo Performance Doll.

They will release a single next month, that’s good to know. Also Anyu Kobayashi has been on hiatus since November.

7. Yumemiru Adolescence.

Wow, I didn’t think this would ever happen. Recently they just added 3 new members Hanon Yamagucchi, Saya Yamashita, Yuki Minase. I like the way this group looks, will be releasing a single next month.6. Momoiro Clover Z.

They’re down to 4 members as Momoka Ariyasu graduated on Janaury 18th, it just won’t be the same without her. She was a big part of the group.5. Cheeky Parade.

Marin Yamamoto and Mariya Suzuki should be back from their 2 year hiatus around the summer of this year, they went on to hiatus on June 2016. To study english in Los Angeles, USA. Hope when they rejoin the group it brings new life to them, and pick up their activities.4. SUPER GiRLS.

If SUPER GiRLS can do bikini photo shoots, why can’t Cheeky Parade, GEM, Wa-Suta do it also.

Sad to say Runa Ozawa just graduated on January 31st.3. Babyraids JAPAN.

Ever since seeing them in September last year in San Francisco, at the J-Pop Summit my interest in them has been rejuvenated big time. I don’t even know why it even decline in the first place they’re so much fun to follow. I think it stared declining when they change their name, which was around the same time Manatsu Hayashi became blonde. Talking about Manatsu being blonde I though she was less attractive I didn’t like her as a blonde it didn’t suit her, my feelings didn’t change until I saw her at the J-Pop Summit. Seeing her up close and in person, I don’t know. It did something to me, I could have just stared at her face for all eternity.

I can’t say for sure, looking back. I think Manatsu Hayashi becoming blonde had a lot to do with me losing interest in them, add the name change I think that did it. It definitely wasn’t because of Rio Watanabe.2. AKB48.

Yeah, AKB48 is definitely hard to follow. And what is AKB48 are they a whole bunch of groups in a group, You got Team A, K, B, 4, and Team 8. In reality Team 8 is like it’s on own separate group, that has really has nothing to with AKB48. Then theirs the Research Students (Kenkyuusei), and also you have the senbatsu members and whatever else their is.

1. Morning Musume.

Chisaki Morito is a 14th Generation Morning Musume member so she’s and official and full time member. I may have mention this before, I can’t remember. If I didn’t Haruka Kudo graduated on December 11th.

My Favorite Top 25 J-Pop Idols and Top 20 J-Pop Artist, July 2017.

I do this twice a year in January and July, Ok 1t’s the 2nd day of August. Wasn’t fast enough to get this done before August came, so you know I rush this a little bit. I just hope I didn’t overlook anyone. I don’t think I did it, although I rush this. I did check my list about 3 times to make sure who I wanted here, was here.

This will be very interesting to do since 4 of the Top 12 from the last time I did this ranking, have graduated from their respective groups. Also I had a very tough time on ranking the last 5 position, there were about 12 candidates for that position. I’m satisfied with whom I choose and where I ranked them.

25. Sakura Oda (Morning Musume).

I just can’t get enough of looking at her, she’s so sweet and nice. I don’t anyone that didn’t melted after meeting her, I did.24. Sakura Seta (Batten Show Jo Tai).

I’ve like her from the first time I heard about “Batten Show Jo Tai”, it was just a matter of time when she got ranked here.

23. Moe Kamikokuryo (Angerme).

Another very sweet girl, she’s the reason that I’m back to remotely being interested in Angerme (S/milage) again. Actually make that her and Rikako Sasaki.22. Mizuki Fukumura (Morning Musume).

The Leader of Morning Musume, before I met her in Houston last year. I wasn’t interested or even took notice of her. I probably wouldn’t even recognize her, after meeting her that all change. I guess she’s one of those you got to see very close in a person, to appreciate just how beautiful she is. She was the first member that I met, I think I froze for a bit. I just remember her talking to me, but wasn’t hearing anything. I just continued to stare at her, for a bit. I was very nervous about meeting the group, she had a way of making you feel more relax. Which help when I got to the other members.

Anyways after meeting her I started to really follow her and check her up quite a lot, I still do check up on her quite a bit.21. Rei Inoue (Kobushi Factory).

She’s been my favorite Kobushi Factory member right from the beginning, although earlier this year (even as soon as a couple of weeks ago) it look like Ayano Hamaura may dethrone her. But recently she has widened the gap little by little by day.

I have to say this I find her sexually appealing, always have.

A couple of weeks ago July 17th, was her Birthday. Happy Sweet 16th Belated Birthday, Rei.20. Kyouka (Yumemiru Adolescence).

She’s not as hot as Yuumi Shida, or I think as cute as Karin Ogino. She does it for me.

I rarely buy Photo Books, Buy for some reason I bough hers.19. Honoka Akimoto (Team Syachihoko).

For some reason I’m starting to get back into her, actually it’s been long a while now. I actually forgot just how pretty I thought she was.18. Misato Misaki (drop).

She seems unusual and weird, but I love her and think she’s really cute.17. Mai Ozeki (Country Girls).

She’s just getting prettier and prettier by the day.16. Rio Watanabe (Babyraids JAPAN).

My interest in her and Babyraids Japan had been declining a little bit, til I found out they’re coming to J-Pop Summit this year. I’m excited right now, just thinking about seeing and meeting her.15. Risa Yamaki (Country Girls).

I’m a little confused and a little concern with what’s going on with Country Girls right now, especially members Risa and Mai Ozeki. It seems like that Country Girls activities is going to become very limited.14. Mayu Watanabe (AKB48).

She has announced her graduation, I’d still like to know what’s become of her sole single. That they mention a long, long time ago.13. Kanako Momota (Momoiro Clover Z).

July 12th, was her Birthday. Happy Belated 23rd Birthday, Kanako.

She’s definitely the kind of girl I want to Hangout with and has have as a companion.

11. Seira Jonishi (Tokyo Performance Doll).

It was just over a year ago, I met her at the J-Pop Summit last year. I’m feeling a little excited just thinking about it.

In about a couple of weeks August 14th, it’s her Birthday. Happy 21st Birthday in advance, Jonishi.10. Kanna Hashimoto (Rev. from DVL).

Her and Rev. From DVL have been pretty quiet this year so far, although she was in movie earlier this year.9. Meru Tashima (HKT48).

She just open a twitter account in June, just like her Goggle+ account she’s always updating it. And posting cool interesting pictures, in a way you could say she’s probably the only one I’m checking up on a regular basis. I’ve been checking her Google+ account almost everyday for about 2 years now, and now her Twitter also. I always check it before a I start work, it just makes me feel so much better.8. Mai Shiraishi (Nogizaka46).

I really like to know just how popular she is Japan now or even before, I remember several years ago reading she was by far the most popular Nogizaka46 member in Japan. But it didn’t seem like it, now it doesn’t even seem like she’s in the Top 3. Maybe her fans are just very quiet like me.7. Asami Watanabe (Cheeky Parade)

My wife has been looking pretty Hot, very sexy lately.6. Ai Negishi (PASSPO).

I’m having a very difficult time finding any new news on her, her Birthday is on the same day as Asami Watanabe.5. Miki Shimomura (Fairies).

She cut her hair short very early this year, and she looks really cute with it. But I hope she grows it long again.4. Maria Makino (Morning Musume).

Maria is releasing a Photo Book really soon, pre ordered it already. She’s been doing a lot of bikini shoots the last year or so, so I’m happy really happy about that. I just can’t get enough of this girl.3. Haruna Iikubo (Morning Musume).

Talking about photobooks, I bought hers earlier this year. I had a very bad experience buying it, it came to the point. I just wanted to say screw it and not get it, if it was any other idol I may have. I just had to get this.2. Hitomi Arai (Tokyo Girls’ Style).

For fans of her that don’t check her Twitter, I recommend you should. She’s always updating it, and she usually post some good pictures.1. Yuki Kashiwagi (AKB48).

For those of you who thought this was expected, it wasn’t. I actually considered ranking Hitomi Arai number one, yes I like Hitomi Arai that much. As for Yuki Kashiwagi I really like her just as much as always, it’s just that she’s not in the news as much as before. It shouldn’t matter, but I think it does. My Top 20 J-Pop Artist :

20. There There Theres.

The idol group formerly know as “BELLING Girls Heart”, I’ve been a fan of BELLING Girls Heart for a few years. Anyways 3 members graduated at the end of last year, then on February of this year added 2 new members and renamed the group to it’s current name. I’m still warming up to the new members, they lost a couple of members who I really like a lot. They’re still unusual and entertaining as ever.19. Niji no Conquistador.

Fun and entertaining group, can’t wait for their summer single to come. I wasn’t into her before, I’ve getting into Nagi Nemoto the last few months. She’s hot.18. Babyraids JAPAN.

They’ll be coming to J-Pop Summit in San Francisco later on this year, I’m getting very excited about this. For the last 3 or 4 years I’ve been requesting them to invite them and Fairies over, very few idol groups I’d like to see perform more than Babyraids. Honestly I’m looking forward to seeing Rio Watanabe more than anything.17. Keyakizaka46.

Honestly, just like most people I’m also surprise how fast they’ve come to where they are now. And I like that they seem a little different than Nogizaka46, they’re like a “Dark Nogizaka46”. Unlike the 48 groups, I think this was what NMB48 was meant to be. But they got lost in their direction (or Chicken out), and just screwed it all up.16. Tokyo Girls’ Style.

Ever since they decided to makes changes almost 2 years ago, I found them kinda boring. That’s nothing new for a few years when I started to get into them, I found them boring. But I like them, especially my sweetheart “Hitomi Arai”. When you added it all up, only about 15 months I didn’t find them boring. I’m exaggerating and making an inside joke, It’s not as I make it sound to be.15. Kobushi Factory.

July was not a good month for Kobushi Factory as Rio Fijii left the group on July 6th, she’s the first member to leave the group since they formed in January 2015. On July 15th Rena Ogawa when on hiatus for health reasons, her hiatus will only be for about a month.14. NMB48.

I found them hard to follow ever since Milky left, and when Kei Jonishi graduated it got a lot worse. But they still have a few members I still really like, and check on now and then.13. Fairies.

Sora Nomoto has been looking pretty hot and sexy lately.12. SKE48.

With some few new members, I think future is looking good as ever.11. Country Girls.

I’m a little worried and concern about their future, in June Momoko Tsugunaga graduated from Country Girls and Hello! Project. And also 3 members would become concurrent members with other Hello! Project groups.

Chisaki Morito will become a concurrent member with Morning Musume, I think just like Morning Musume even more.

Thanks to Asuka Saito, my interest in Nogizaka46 has been rejuvenated. Not that I was losing interest in them, it’s just that I haven’t been feeling this way about Nogizaka46 since I started following them. Seems like she just brought some freshness in my interest in Nogizaka46.9. Tokyo Performance Doll.

They will be releasing a single next month, it looks like a good one. I wish my J-Pop Idol ranking was a Top 30, they had a few members I wanted to included, like Nana Takahashi. She can speak english, I had very short chat with her at J-Pop Summit last year. It was very short, but enough to make a memory.8. PASSPO.

I think a lot of activities, as for any mew news that you can talk about. Hard to find.7. HKT48.

From what I’m reading and hearing, they’re future doesn’t look good.6. Yumemiru Adolescence.

Rei Kobayashi has come from her hiatus in June, unfortunately Akari Yamada officially left the group in March. I liked her too.5. Cheeky Parade.

Cheeky Parade Seran Mizorogi & Momoka Kodakari left the group on June 9th, I like those 2 a lot. I kinda expected this from Seran Mizorogi for a long while now it was just a matter of when, as for Momoka Kodakari it was a complete surprise. This really sucks, it really does.

Marin Yamamoto & Mariya Suzki are still on hiatus in Los Angeles, USA. They should be coming back next year, til then Cheeky Parade will a 5 member group.4.  Momoiro Clover Z.

I still like them a lot and still find them very entertaining, but I’m not having as much fun as I was following them.3. SUPER GiRLS.

My interest in them was rejuvenated over a year ago, it’s probably at an all time now. With no signs of falling in the near future, Nana Asakawa may have something to do with this. They did lose Ami Maeshima who graduated in March, whom I really like a lot.

2. AKB48.

The AKB48 now is definitely not the same AKB48 in 2011, when I started to get into them. They’re still fun to follow, theirs quantity if not quality.1. Morning Musume.

Still not sure what to think about the 13th Generation members Kaede Kaga & Reina Yokoyama, haven’t warmed up to them yet. Then theirs the 14th Generation Member (concurrent member from Country Girls) Chisaki Morito. She really looks good as a Morning Musume, you know what “I think she’ll become Morning Musume center”.

My favorite Top 25 J-Pop Idols and Top 20 J-Pop Artist, January, 2017.

I do this twice a year in January and July, although I’ve done it a couple of times in August. This was fun and interesting to do, especially trying to decide the bottom 5 in my J-Pop Artist. And the bottom 6 in my J-Pop Idols, with so many candidates to consider and with only 6 spots available.

 

My Top 25 Favorite J-Pop Idols :

* I was going include Marina Nagasawa of Houkago Princess at number 23, since she graduated from the group at the end of December last month. I decide not to, it was a last minute decision.

25. Rio Watanabe (Babyraids JAPAN).

I guess she has Marina Nagasawa to thank for this, I’ve always like her right from the beginning. Not the best dancer in the world, but I think she’s really cute.

24. Mai Ozeki (Country Girls).

I really do like her, she’s really cute. she’s growing up to be a very beautiful young woman. Although I think she looks really cute in short hair, I think she looks really hot with her hair longer. I like her better with her hair long, if she cuts it short again it won’t change the way I feel about her.

On February 10th, it’s her Birthday. Happy 15th Birthday in advance, Mai.

23. Rei Kuromiya (The Idol Formerly Knows As LADYBABY).

I debated if she actually belongs here or not, I guess she done enough music stuff to qualify.22. Sakura Oda (Morning Musume).

She’s the 7th Morning Musume Member to make my favorite J-Pop Idol rankings, at one time or another. By far the most, AKB48 is next with 4 members.

I didn’t like her at first, I think it was around late 2015 that I started to take notice of her. Last year in Houston at Anime Matsuri it was a big thrill for me to meet her (Ok after the fact), she was so nice. I think it was unintentional she’s a flirt, but in a really nice and kind of way. After meeting her my interest in her just grew and grew and grew.21. Risa Yamaki (Country Girls).

I like her, she has sex appeal. To me she’s like Yuki Kashiwagi, that I find it embarrassing to watch when she tries to be cute.20. Misato Misaki (drop).

It’s only a matter of time when she’ll become my favorite Morning Musume Member, but Haruna Iikubo will be very tough for her to dethroned. Time is on her side.

I don’t know what’s going with this graduation thing about her, first in late 2015 she announced she’ll be graduating from the group in 2016. Then you never heard anything about it, then I think it was a few months ago I read she’s suppose to graduate in early 2017. But I haven’t heard anything about it since, you know what they say “No News” is “Good News”.I didn’t notice this before, here’s a picture with her and “drop” Misato Misaki. 20. Moso Calibration.

I’ve been liking them a couple of years now, I especially like Nia Hoshino. Kinda funny looking, but I think she’s really cute.19. Fuwafuwa.

I first heard of them early last year, I don’t know a group this big. With so many cute members, I think they’re all cute.18. Niji no Conquistador.

I’ve like them for a long time now, I don’t know if it was laziness or what. I really didn’t start to really check them out, til maybe a year or so ago. A very fun group to watch. Nagi Nemoto is definitely very nice to look at.17. Keyakizaka46.

I think they might be a year or two away from doing any bikini shoots, can’t wait some really cute members there. Their first single was a great I like it a lot, but the next 2 singles they release I thought was kinda boring.16. Kobushi Factory.

I’ve like them right from the beginning, but lately the last several months. I’ve been really into them, I especially like Rei Inoue for some reason. To me they’re like a cheap or a “Poor Man’s” version of Morning Musume, that was a compliment.15. Tokyo Girls’ Style.

Will be releasing a single, in about a month. One of the best J-Pop concerts I’ve ever seen (Top 3), was watching them at the J- Pop Summit Festival in 2014.14. Fairies.

Down to 5 members now, as Miria Fujita graduated from the group on January 10th. She was a cutie.

13. NMB48.

Don’t follow them as much as before, with Kei Jonishi graduating soon. I’ll probably be checking them out even less.12. SKE48.

I never did follow them that much, they have or had a few members that I would check out regularly. But that was about it.

The 8th Generation they all look really cute, and the 7th Generation aren’t bad. So it’s looking good for SKE48.11. Country Girls.

They’ve been around for more than 2 years, but for some reason it seems a lot shorter. During that time they’ve had 2 members who graduated, and have added 2 members. and Momoko Tsugunaga will be graduating on June 30th. And she fitted so will with this group.

I like the fact they’re so very different from all the other Hello! Project groups, who seem to be all the same.10. Tokyo Performance Doll.

I think I’m still on a high from watching them at the J-Pop Summit in San Francisco last year, I just bought their latest album 2 weeks go. I’m still checking them out almost regularly, just not as much as before. I still like to fantasize about Nana & Seira.9. Nogizaka46.

In my opinion the most classy, professional and discipline J-Pop girl group. Don’t ask me to explain.8. Yumemiru Adolescence.

Temporarily a 4 member group, since Rei Kobayashi is on hiatus.Yumemiru Adolescence with Tokyo Girls’ Style, as Yuumi Shida & Hitomi Arai release two singles last summer.7. HKT48.

The most fun group in the AKB48 family to watch, lately they’ve done some things that’s annoyed me. Something AKB48 would do.6. PASSPO.

I’m still debating if I like as a Band, yes still.5. Momoiro Clover Z.

My interest in them as been diminishing a little bit for a long time now, I was hoping seeing them in concert late last year in New York City. Would change that, unfortunately it didn’t. Didn’t help either that I had a bad experience with one of the staff members, I think I got spoiled with Cheeky Parade when they came to New York City. Which I was basically allowed to chat with the members. The concert was great I enjoyed myself.4. SUPER GiRLS.

My only problem with them right now is that the last couple of years, they’re not releasing anything that much. Last year my interest in them has been rejuvenated, I’m starting to have fun following them. I think that was a great move when they transferred Nana Asakawa from GEM to SUPER GiRLS in 2014.3. I just enjoy following and checking them out.2. AKB48.

They’ve dropped to number 2, nothing last forever. This maybe only be temporary time will tell.1. Morning Musume.

Although it was almost a year ago, I’m still on a high from watching and meeting them at Anime Matsuri in Houston. They’re so much easier and more fun to follow than AKB48, when I’m checking them out at youtube for example. I get to see all the members unlike AKB48.

 

 

My Favorite J-Pop Idols and J-Pop Artist, August 2016.

I do this twice a year in January and July, because I went on a 2 week vacation last month. I’ve decide to this in August, I did the same thing in 2014.

My Top 25 Favorite J-Pop Idols, singers, or whatever. These days the definition of it can be very vague.

25. Haruna Ogata (Morning Musume).

When I went to see Morning Musume at Anime Matsuri in Houston earlier this year, believe it or not she was the first one that caught my eye. I always thought she was kinda cute, seeing her in person was I thought she was just super cute.

And she also looks really good in bikini.24. Honoka Akimoto (Team Syachihoko).

I was really into her I guess for a couple of years or so, then I just lost interest in her. Earlier this year I’ve started to get back to kinda following her, she’s just as fun and funny and beautiful as ever.23. Karin Ogino (Yumemiru Adolescence).

I don’t fantasize about her anymore, those were great times. I still enjoy following her and her group.22. Moa Kikuchi (BABYMETAL).

I’ve always like her ever since she was with Sakura Gakuin, that seem like a long time ago.21. Sayaka Yamamoto (NMB48).

She’s going to release a solo album, at the end of October. She will also write and compose a few songs on the album.20. Mayu Watanabe (AKB48).

Taking about releasing solo albums, wasn’t Mayu suppose to release a solo album this year. I haven’t heard anything about that for the longest time, same with that solo single.19. Yuna Sekine (Cheeky Parade).

I’m sorry I really can’t think of anything to write about her, except I really enjoy listening to her talk. I’m all ears when she speaks.18. Seira Jonishi (Tokyo Performance Doll).

She’s just absolutely beautiful and sexy, seeing her person in San Francisco at the J-Pop summit was a big thrill for me. She’s as beautiful in person as she looks  in her pictures, I think she’s a cousin of Kei Jonishi. So I’ve read in a few places.

About couple of weeks ago August 14th, was her birthday. Happy belated 20th birthday, Seira.17. Nao Sakura (Team Syachihoko).

Very few idols I enjoy following more than her, even when my interest in Team Syachihoko was diminishing which it was at one time. I was always checking her out. I don’t think their’s an idol I want to hang out for a good time more than her. She cut her hair short earlier this year, I prefer long hair. But she looks super cute in short hair.

Her birthday is a day after mine on September 10th. Happy 19th birthday in advance, Nao.16. Kanako Momota (Momoiro Clover Z).

I’m really looking forward to seeing her and Momoiro Clover Z in New York City on November 19th, got my tickets already.15. Kanna Hashimoto (Rev. from DVL).

Rev. from DVL haven’t release anything much this year, I guess it’s because Kanna is doing a few stuff outside of the group.14. Miyuki Watanabe (NMB48).

Since she graduated from NMB48 on August 9th, I wasn’t going to include her in this ranking. Since I usually do this in July and it’s Milky, what the hell. She will be missed.13. Meru Tashima (HKT48).

I really enjoy following her on Google+, she always does a post everyday. She usually post good pictures and videos also.12. Maria Makino (Morning Musume).

A master at fan service, maybe not quite a master yet. She really knows how to please her fans, and make new fans. Or depending who are, you may find her somewhat annoying. I think Haruna Ogata is more of a master of fan service.11. Kei Jonishi (NMB48).

This really sucks, I’m not really seeing her as much as before.10. Mai Shiraishi (Nogizaka46).

If she was to dye her hair black, that’s probably her natural hair color. Anyways if she had black hair she would look like Mayu Watanabe.9. Haruna Iikubo (Morning Musume).

I sill can’t get over how I failed to notice her when I was basically standing beside her, in Houston at Anime Matsuri. Just me and my friend with Morning Musume, for about minute. When I finally realize who I was standing beside with, and got over shock. They started to head out, talk about a miss opportunity.8. Seran Mizoroigi (Cheeky Parade).

I’m afraid the days of her being my J-Pop sexual fantasy girl has ended, she’s still a lot fun and very funny at least I think so. And I still find her cute, so she’s still worth following.7. Asami Watanabe (Cheeky Parade).

She has change her hairstyle again, I wonder if this will become a yearly thing. Regardless how she has her hair, I think she’s just absolutely gorgeous.6. Miki Shimomura (Fairies).

My new J-Pop sexual fantasy girl, no that’s not true. No one will ever replace Seran Mizorogi in that department, I do fantasize sexual about her quite often.5. Ai Negishi (PASSPO).

It seems like I’ve been following her and PASSPO for a long time, actually I guess I have. Since I first heard of them and became a fan about 3 or 4 months after I discovered J-Pop, she’s turning 24 next month. For some reason I think she’s a lot older.4. Yukafin Doll (Afilia Saga).

I thought she was suppose to graduated from Afilia Saga earlier this year, when I saw her on the cover of Afilia Saga latest single. I was very surprise she was still in the group, I’ve been trying to find out about her graduation. It seem like it’s all been forgotten, no one is mentioning it. Which is find by me.3. I was going to write something sexual about her, but I’m sorry. I just can’t say anything bad about her, it’s not bad some would say sexual feelings is healthy. But, you know what I mean.2. Yuki Kashiwagi (AKB48).

My Top 20 Favorite J-Pop Group.

20. Babyraids JAPAN.

I’m starting to find them a little boring to follow, I hope this changes. I really enjoy this group.19. Tokyo Girls’ Style.

Ever since they became a 4 member group, it seems they’ve been doing less activities. But, they are releasing a new single “Shinkai” tomorrow.18. Team Syachihoko.

My interest in them has started to pick up since earlier this year, after it was declining a little bit for a while there. Yuzu Ando is still on indefinite hiatus, I hope she comes back soon. Or, that she comes back all.17. C-ute.

They’ve announce they will disband in June of next year, that’s like almost a year from now. So, I won’t really say anything about this just yet. They’re sentimental favorite of mine, so this is shitty news.16. 9nine.

Just when I was really staring to get into “Umika Kawashima” earlier this year, she graduates on July 23rd. I really like 9nine even before I really thought anything of her, cause I really didn’t before. So this shouldn’t really matter, I think it will. I will definitely miss her, for a while a couple of months ago. She was probably the J-Pop idol I was fantasizing about the most.15. Fairies.

Whenever theirs an Anime Convention here in North Amierica, I’m always requesting them to invite this group. I’ve even requested a couple times for them as guest at J-Pop summit in San Francisco. This group is just becoming more and more sexier, each time I see them.14. Country Girls.

I just love this group, to me everything they do is all win. I’m very sad about about Manaka Inaba graduating on August 4th, due to health reasons.13. Tokyo Performance Doll.

They’re probably ranked just a little higher than they should be, I guess because I just saw them last month at the J-Pop summit in San Francisco. I actually considered not attending, I like them but not enough to drive 3 or 4 days to see them. I like Seira Jonishi who I would love just to see, but she’s no Hitomi Arai. I’m glad I did go, had a lot of fun there with group. I’m actually following them very closely since seeing them.12. Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku.

My interest in them is declining a little bit, mainly due they’re not doing much activities and ain’t releasing much lately. At least it seems like it to me.11. NMB48.

I will still like NMB48, not having Milky. Will hurt.10. SKE48.

They’ve had a lot members graduate the last several years, at least they’re being replaced by some cute members. I don’t really follow SKE48 that much, I think I like them better now. They seem a lot more fresh and fun.9. Nogizaka46.

All things being equal, I think they’re very close to AKB48 level. Maybe even little above AKB48. Then again maybe not they’re having great singles sales, it’s a little misleading the same can be said about AKB48.8. Yumemiru Adolescence.

This group has it all, and Kyouka is just developing very well.I think this is very funny them doing the Domobics dance, which Tokyo Performance Doll keep doing at the J-Pop Summit. Or at least this is what I think it is.7. HKT48.

Make Meru Tashima center again, I need to see more Meru.6. PASSPO.

They’re doing more activities this year, last year they barely did anything. I like them, but for the longest time it was hard to find anything new on them. And is Naomi Anzai ever becoming a sexpot5. SUPER GiRLS.

3 of their 4 singles in the last 3 years, have been summer singles. I was going to say find by me, bikinis on the cover. Unfortunately not this year, 3 years ago they didn’t either. Must because of those very young new members.

On June 25th Rina Katsuta and Reira Arai graduated from the group. They lose 2 members added 5 new members.4. Momoiro Clover Z.

They will be doing a concert in New York City on November 19th, I will going to that concert.3. Cheeky Parade.

For now they will be a 7 member group as Marin Yamamoto & Mariya Suzuki, I think will be on a 2 year hiatus to study in Los Angeles, USA. Also going with them will “GEM” member Maya Takeda, I wrote in one of my post she was graduated from the group. It’s not true just like the other 2 she will be just on hiatus.2. Morning Musume.

I guess just before I went to see them in February at Houston for Anime Matsuri, my interest in them was probably as low as it ever was since I started to get to really into them during the Summer of 2012. The decline started around the end of the summer of 2014, it’s not has bad as it sounds. Although it was at the lowest its been since I started following them, it was still a lot higher than almost all the idol group I like. I guess the only bad thing about this was I really didn’t get to know the 12th generation that well. Ever since that time in Houston my interest them has been going up, it’s probably higher now than it ever was. And it hasn’t even reach it’s peak yet. Right now they’re the group I’m paying the most attention too, and this includes AKB48. I said the same thing a few times a couple of years ago, in reality that wasn’t really the case. This time it really is.1. AKB48.

It’s been a long, long while now. I really find them very frustrating to follow, I don’t even know where to start. If anything they have quantity if not quality.

It’s been going on almost forever but I really hate when they have other members from their sister groups on their singles, it was bad then. It’s just getting worse and worse. A lot more I could say what I don’t like, then this go on forever.

Since I don’t have a problem with AKB48 Team 8, I’ll post picture of them.

AKB48 44th single “Tsubasa wa Iranai”, which was released on June 1st. Sold 1,440,711 copies in it’s first week of release, to ranked number one on the weekly oricon singles chart. This is the election single, where one voting ballot is included in the CD. Mion Mukaichi is center for this single, first time she’s been center.This single was released in 7 versions, including the Theater Edition.

I think this a great single, I like every track on this single. It’s been along while since I can say that about an a AKB48 single.

I first notice her earlier last year, I find her very attractive and sexually appealing. I shouldn’t say something like that about someone so young, Pretty girl.

I’ve known her way before this, but I started to really take interest in her in very early 2014. I was watching alot of Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku videos around that time, I just found her so funny. She’d always make all these funny/weird gestures, that’s the reason why I basically like her she’s always making these gestures. She is also kinda cute.23. Rina Matsuno (Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku).

I noticed her cause she was tall and being kinda cute help also, I have a weakness for tall females. I wouldn’t say she’s really that tall, in the J-Pop Idol world. She’s really tall.22. Rika Tonosaki (Doll Elements).

I’ve known Doll Elements for about 2 years or so, I guess. She’s the member who I would always notice, although I thought she was super cute. I really had no intention of wanting to get interested in her, until about 2 months. It doesn’t look like it, she has pretty big Boobs. I don’t know if this a turn off or I actually like it, she hasn’t change abit the last few years. Yeah, I’ve been fantasizing about her quite abit lately.21. Rio Watanabe (Babyraids JAPAN).

I think her dancing is better, she used to dance very awkwardly and was always a step behind the other members. I think her dancing better.

When it comes to her I rarely make any comments, and really don’t talk like she’s my infinite absolute favorite. I do have a pretty good Kojima collection I think I have all her photobooks and I buy magazines with her on the cover, just to name a few. My Top 20 J-Pop Groups.

20. Idol Renaissance.

It look about a minute to consider who to put at this position, a lot of candidates. A second to decide, it wasn’t an easy one, had to chose one, and do it quickly.

I’ve know Idol Renaissance for well over a year, I like their songs. The members are really cute, especially a couple of them.

19. Country Girls.

They were formed just a little more than a year ago, they already had one member graduate and added two new members late last year. Those two new members look kinda cute. They release two singles so far which I really like alot, and a new one coming very soon. I just enjoy watching them they’re so refreshing.18. Tokyo Girls’ Style.

On late December 2015 Ayano Konishi, official left the group, I prefer them as five. Oh well, nothing I can do about it. I don’t know why they have a problem with being called an Idol group, Fairies doesn’t. Then again I don’t think anyone really calls or considers Fairies an Idol Group, atleast not techically.17. Team Syachihoko.

For a while my interest in them was diminishing, lately I’m starting to really get interested in them again also with their leader Honoka Akimoto, who I seriously considered including her back again.16. C-ute.

Anytime I have a friends who doesn’t know anything about J-Pop, this the group I usually recommend or mention first.15. Fairies.

Have they ever done any overseas activities outside of Asia? Miki is my favorite, but I’ve been really liking Rikako Inoue for several months now.14. 9nine.

I really like them alot as a group, although their was really no one particular member I really had any interest in even remotely following. Uki Satake probably came the closes. I guess almost a month now I’ve been very interested in Umika Kawashima, I mean I’ve been fantasizing about her alot. For a time there, almost on a daily basis.

Another J-Pop Idol group, which to me seem like they were doing less activities, compared to previous years. I think they’ve reach their peak a while ago, I hope they have a very good 2016. If you asked me 2015 was a disapointment, in the sense it could have been alot better.With Yumemiru Adolescence.12. SKE48.

I don’t know why I don’t like or follow SKE48 alot more than I should, of all the groups in the AKB48 family. I think they’re the group that have remained the most constant (Graduations not included), and they have alot of really cute members. When I do check them out they never disappoint, I should be checking them out alot more.11. NMB48.

What I said about SKE48, is the opposite of NMB48. I check them out alot more than SKE48, more times than not I fine them rather boring. They’re more consistent than SKE48 in every sense, maybe that’s why I like them more.10. Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku.

If they release more stuff, they would probably rank higher. They’re very entertaining, almost second to none. They just don’t have enough stuff lately to keep me entertain.9. Nogizaka46.

Nogizaka46 as a new sister group “Toriizaka46”, it was bound to happen. If they turn out anything like Nogizaka46, I guess it’s good. On average they’re pretty young, some really cute members.8. Yumemiru Adolescence.

I don’t think I get excited as much as when an Idol Group releases a new single, as much as I do with this group. An Kyouka is growing up to be very fine young woman.7. PASSPO.

The lost 2 members in 2015 due to graduation, Makoto Okunaka at the start of the year and Sako Makita at the end of the year. 2 members that I really like a lot.

Do they ever do a lot of concerts.6. HKT48.

Not that I didn’t in the past, but lately I’ve checking them out a fair amount times lately. Wow, some of those members have really grown up. Some are just dead gorgeous, will be checking them out a fair amount of times now. This didn’t happen yesterday, I don’t why I didn’t notice this before. Maybe I did I was just too lazy and uninterested or to bothered to notice. I can be like that sometimes.5. SUPER GiRLS.

Sometime this year I was a little worried, my interest in them was probably at an all time low. Thanks, to Rina Miyazaki and maybe a couple of others it’s back to where it should be. They just need to be in the spotlight more, like they used to be. To me it seems like they’re not trying, for it.4. Momoiro Clover Z.

They’re releasing 2 albums in February will definitely get both.3. Morning Musume.

On December 31, 2015. Riho Sayashi graduated from the group, which is to bad. She was a cutie.

Next month they will be at Anime Matsuri, in Houston, Texas. It’s not 100%, but it’s looking good that I will be attending it.2. Cheeky Parade.

I’m not to sure exactly what this is all about but Marin Yamamoto and Mariya Suzuki, will going on a 2 year hiatus from Cheeky Parade. To study abroad in Los Angeles, California. Another member from their sister group “GEM”, Maaya takeda is also going with them. I don’t think a date as been announced when They will be leaving.1. AKB48.

My only complain about them is sometimes when I watch them, it’s not like watching AKB48. I hope you know what I mean, Unlike SKE48, NMB48 and HKT48.*Got done on time, at a second to spare.

 

My Favorite J-Pop Idols and J-Pop Artist, July 2015.

I always look forward to doing this, mainly because I only do it twice a year. In January and July.

* I won’t be including Berryz Koubou and one of it’s member Yurina Kumai, they’re on indefinite hiatsu. They would have made the list.

25. Reina Washino (Flower / E-Girls).

I was going to make this a Top 24, cause just like last time. I was having a hard time choosing who to put at this spot, but when it came down to doing this. You know what I just got to include this sweetie, with an angels voice.24. Nao Sakura (Team Syachihoko).

She seems like a really fun and playful girl to be with, she’s the kind of girl I would like to take to a J-Pop concert or something like that. She looks really innocent and sweet, I got a feeling she’s a really wild girl.23. Rio Watanabe (Babyraids JAPAN).

She’s someone who I’ve considered including in my favorite J-Pop idols rankings before, since I first heard of her around late 2012. For some reason I was very reluctant to do it. I’ve often fantasize about her from the first time I’ve heard of her, I still do I quite often. 22. Rina Matsuno (Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku).

I like tall girls. She doesn’t really belong here, but I just can’t stop liking her.21. Kanna Hashimoto (Rev. grom DVL).

Yes, I actually like her alot. And check up on her quite often.20. Karin Ogino (Yumemiru Adolescence).

I’m really starting to get annoyed with that cute smile, which she does quite often.19. Rena Matsui (SKE48).

She probably would ranked higher, if I saw more of her. But that’s mainly due to fact that I don’t really follow and check up, on Afilia Saga that much. Regardless she’s just absolutely beautiful, I like to know how old she is. I got a feeling she’s alot older than I think.6. Miki Shimomura (Fairies).

She’s hot, and she knows it. I’ve always fantasize about her, now and then. Lately, I’ve been doing it alot. Does Fairies do any swimsuit photo shoots, I don’t think so. I would love too see her in a bikini.5. Seran Mizorogi (Cheeky Parade).

How I’ve always felt and see Miki Shimomura is the same as her, just to alot more extent. The last 2 weeks or so I guess, I’ve found her to be very annoying and childish. I think I’m just going through some kind of a phase with her, which I hope will be temporary. Or I’m just refusing to accept the fact that I’m actually starting to like Miki more than her. I use to fantasize about her, almost all the time, I can’t even remember the last time I fantasize about her. I tried not long ago, I wasn’t getting the same feeling I once was. I don’t think she has change, so it must be me. I really don’t know what it is, I just hope it’s temporay. Then it’s back to the way it was, I guess only time will tell.4. Ai Negishi (PASSPO).3. It was just over a year ago that I saw her at the J-Pop Summit Festival in San Francisco, I must admit she was the reason that I went. I was thinking of going to Cuba with a bunch of friends, during my summer vacation last year. When I found that Tokyo Girls’ Style was going there, I knew were I was going to. She was everything I imagine her to be. I just love the way she smiles and giggles, it just makes me melt.2. Yuki Kashiwagi (AKB48).1. As far as I’m concern the perfect J-Pop Girl Idol Group, I think all the members are pretty.19. Dorothy Little Happy.

I don’t know why, sometimes I get them confuse with 9nine.18. Fairies.

Their songs are O.K., thay have some I really like alot. I like their dancing, kinda sexy at times. The members are nice to look at, especially Miki Shimomura. I’m taking a fancy to Rikako Inoue.17. C-ute.

I don’t think I give them the credit they deserved, I tend to put them down quite abit.16. 9nine.

I just enjoy this group, I do follow them quite regularly. I always get a little excited when they release something (anything) new, which has been much the last year or so.15. Tokyo Girls’ Style.

It was just over a year ago, that I met them in San Francisco at the J-Pop Summit Festival. Being with them at the tent (almost) alone at the “Meet and Greet” for a good minute or two, it was just so much fun. Get well soon Ayano, just don’t come back til you’re really well and ready.14. It seems like they’re not doing as much activities, as before. When it comes to being energetic, few idol groups can match them. That’s just my opinion.

13. Yumemiru Adolescence.

They’re hitting the big time now, took longer than I though. I’m still having trouble finding any updates or current info on them, although it’s not as bad as before.12. SKE48.

To me the most irrelevant group in the AKB48 family, they’re just the group I find hardest to get interested in. I like their songs, I like some members. But, I just find them….., I don’t know. It’s not as bad as I make it sound, I find them better more fun, more entertaining, etc. Than probably more than 95% of the J-Pop Girl Idol groups I know.11. NMB48.

I think they did to do something very drastic.10. Nogizaka46.

I really did like them alot in the beginning, I thought they were very unique. They’re slowly becoming like AKB48, they’re even getting a sister group. You never really use to see them in any bikini photo shoot, not that their’s anything wrong with it. I like them better when they weren’t do it, it’s rare and only some members do it. I just hope it doesn’t become too much, like AKB48 and her sister groups.9. Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku.

My interest in them has diminished a little bit, I still find them very entertaining. I still follow them quite Closely. Ever since Hirono Suzuki graduated from the group in April 2014, I never felt same about this group as when she was with them.8. HKT48.

What’s going on with iDOL Street, it seems like they’re slacking in managing their groups. They don’t seem to know what direction they want to go.5. Idoling!!!.

Idoling!!! will be disbanding this October, which is really bad and sad news for me. They were one of the first J-Pop idols groups, I got really into. I basically followed them almost on a regular basis. They never disappointed me, when they actually disbanded it will be sad day for me. I especially will miss the “Hashimoto” sisters, Kaede and Ruka.

4. Morning Musume.

They’re still fairly new, they’ve only releases one single so far. I like this current line up.3. Momoiro Clover Z.

I just love this group, they’re always moving forward. Or atleast they try to.2. Cheeky Parade.

I’ve been buying alot of Cheeky Parade stuff, since I saw them in October last year. Like a calendar and a photo book, to name a couple. Back to “iDOL Street”, I don’t really know who manages them or controls what events or activities they do or any of the kind of stuff. Whoever it is, is doing a shitty job right now.1. AKB48.

The last couple of years, they’ve been turning me off more than on. But they always keep me interested.

Ok, I’m over about not seeing her in New York City, last month. Maybe not, I’m actually disappointed about not seeing her although doing it would have caused me alot of stress. It’s one of those damn if do, damn if you don’t kind of thing. I’m disappointed not going, going could have been a disappointment since their are no guarantees like a good view, this isn’t “Cheeky Parade”. Ok, That’s it, I’m not gonna write anything about this anymore.

It’s not just her I’m disappointed about not seeing also Tomu and 2 other members.

Stuff I’ve Ordered or Purchase December 2014, January 2015.

This is only purchases that concerns J-Pop.

I’ve never done this before here, I’ll try to make this a monthly thing. I usually make orders once a month, I don’t buy J-Pop stuff as much as I used do. I usally order from HMV Japan atleast the last year or so, CD Japan is probably the best, but it’s costing me about $30 (Canadian) more each order.

For this post I’ll do my December 2014 and January 2015 purchases.

We’ll start with my December orders, which I did early that month. Which I didn’t received til Mid January, cause it included Nogizaka46 1st album. I’ll start with earlies released date.

Rev. from DVL – Real / Koi Iro Passion.

Their was a reason why I bought this, a stupid one which I don’t want to write about. It had nothing do to with Kanna Hashimoto and how much I like her, if I could do it again. I wouldn’t make this purchase, what’s done is done.

That picture on the bottom right is Honami Kouya, it came with the CD. I don’t know anything about her, as Kanna is only one I really know in the group.

SKE48 – 12 Gatsu no Kangaroo (Limited Edition Type D).

Believed it or not this is the first SKE48 CD, I’ve bought in more than a year. I don’t believed it myself, there was a time when I bought all their version of a single, a long long time ago.

Miyuki Watanabe – Yasashiku Suru Yori Kiss wo Shite (Limited Edition).

Milky first solo single, overall this single seems cheap. Like they really didn’t care too much of putting out a good product, I’m not talking about the music.Nogizaka46 – Toumei na Iro (Type A).

Nogizaka46 1st album, this was very good it came with very nice photo booklet with great solo shots which seem like all the members of the group. The incentive to buy the album is a “12′ Album Cover’, with nothing inside. Which is pretty useless to me, a poster would have been better.

AKB48 – Koko ga Rhodes da, Koko de Tobe! (Regular Edition Type A, Type B).

When it comes to AKB48 I always order all the version, if the track list are different. Some how I forgot to order the Limited Edition Type A, will order it later I guess. Compared to their previous albums, the photo booklet on this one is a disappointment.

Regular Edition Type A, I got a Haruna Kojima picture with this. So I’m Verry Happy.

Type B I got a Sakura Miyawaki picture, I may have to check. I think this might be the first I got Sakura Miyawaki Photo.

Berryz Koubou – Kanjuku Berryz Kobo The Final Completion Box (Limited Edition A).

Their final album before their definite histus, it comes with very nice photo booklet. I got the Limited Edition Type A (3CD+2Blu-ray), so checking this out was very entertaining and interesting.

Lately I also started getting magazines, every time I make an order I’ll probably included one magazine.

Girlpop (2015 Winter).

I think this is a quarterly magazine, 4 times a year. For my money this is the best magazine about J-Pop Girl Group Idol groups. That poster of “Tokyo Girls’ Style”, I got the group to sign in San Francisco at the J-Pop Summit Festival 2014. Was from 2014 Summer Edition, I got it not knowing I would be getting it. If I did I wouldn’t have bought their album, this was cheaper.

Nylon Japan (iDOL Street Special Fashion Book).

I didn’t know what to expect here, glad I got it. It features only iDOL Street Artist, mainly only SUPER GiRLS, Cheeky Parade and GEM. The last few pages features their other groups, which I don’t think have debut yet. Atleast nationally. Great magazine one of my better buys.

With the magazine I got a picture of Nana Asakawa of SUPER GiRLS. You Know who I would have wanted instead.

Marquee (Volume 106).

I only got this magazine because it had “Yumemiru Adolescence” on the cover, I didn’t even think this was an Idol magazine. Til’ I open it and saw PASSPO, Lovely Doll to name two in it. This is the only one I’ve gotten of this magazine so far, from what I see I would ranked this along with Girlpop as the best. When it comes J-Pop Idol Girl Groups. They got something about SUG here, interesting.

 

My Favorite J-Pop Idols and J-Pop Artist, January 2015.

I do this twice a year in January, and in July.

This was a tough one to do so many I considered, I thought about increasing the list. But I think that would be too many, it’s long enough as it is already. Actually when it comes to J-Pop Idols it’s never too many.

My Top 25 Favorite J-Pop Idols, Singers or whatever else you want to call them or consider them.

* This might be only a one time thing, I’m going to include the ages (after their name) of the idols. I’m only doing this cause I’m curious about the average age, my guess is 20. I’ll give the average age after the number one member.

25. Honoka Akimoto (17) (Team Syachihoko) & Nao Sakura (17) (Team Syachihoko).

I don’t do ties, I will have to make an exception here. This will be the only time it will ever happen here, right now I have no choice. I’ve spent the last hour trying decide which 1 of these 2 idols to ranked here.

24. Sayaka Tomaru (18) (FYT).

It was a couple of months ago when I first heard of FYT, it’s 5 member female idol group. When I saw her I though she was really pretty, all the members are fairly attractive she stood out. She’s just absolutely stunning.23. Reina Washino (21) (Flower / E-Girls).

January 20th, was her Birthday. Happt Belated 21st Birthday, Reina.22. Kanna Hashimoto (15) (Rev. from DVL).

Several months ago I don’t know why, but I bought her photobook “Little Star”. I don’t really buy photobooks unless it’s someone from AKB that I really, really like or Yurina Kumai, since it was Kanna Hashimoto. Why Not, No regrets. It’s a great photobook, with great pictures and it’s a hardcover too. It was done really good with variety of genre that suited Kanna really well, it was done all in good taste. If your a Kanna Hashimoto fan, even if your not I highly recommen this. It’s my favorite photobook along with Yurina Kumai’s “KumaSpo!”.

The thing I like about her, is that she reminds how I felt like when I first saw Hitomi Arai of Tokyo Girls’ Style. But to alot lesser extent.

For Sayaka fan’s she will be releasing a new Photo Book next month.

18. Yuna Sekine (20) (Cheeky Parade).

The Leader of Cheeky Parade, it was a great thrill seeing and meeting her in New York City, last year in October. Alot of fun with full of energy and talkative.17. Miyuki Watanabe (21) (NMB48 and SKE48).16. Rika Mayama (18) (Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku).

The Leader of Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku, I like her she makes funny gestures. She released her first solo single single “Liar Mask”, a couple months ago. When I was pre-ordering AKB48 lastest single at the time, I came across hers. Which surprise me I didn’t know she was releasing a single, when I saw the CD cover I thought she looks familar. I decide buy to my a copy.15. Asami Watanabe (20) (Cheeky Parade).

If you look at all the Cheeky Parade members faces closely, I think she’s the the most natually beautiful of all of them. I’m not exactly sure what I mean by that, but yeah.

For anyone interested she’s 1 day older than Yuna Sekine.14. Rena Matsui (23) (SKE48 and Nogizaka46).

This is still a little while away, but Rena will be one busy girl in March. As AKB48, SKE48 & Nogizaka46 will be releasing singles that month and she’s be a senbatsu member for those singles.

13. Haruna Iikubo (20) (Morning Musume).12. Kei Jonishi (19) (NMB48).11. Mayu Watanabe (20) (AKB48).10. Kanako Momota (20) (Momoiro Clover Z).

The Leader of Momoiro Clover Z, she seems like a very nice and caring person. Who seems to treat the younger members in her agency very well, and seems to be very respected by them. She always has a smile on her face, and the cutest pair of dimples.9. Miki Shimomura (16) (Fairies).

I think she’s hot, even from the beginning I thought she was hot. Believe it or not their are few J-pop Idols I sexually fantasize about, she’s one of the few that I do.8. Mai Shiraishi (22) (Nocizaka46).

She’s just absolutely gorgeous, and I do mean Kojima gorgeous.7. Yukafin Doll (Afilia Saga).

Another one of those J-Pop Idols who I find Kojima gorgeous, I thnk she’s super sexy also.6. Seran Mizorogi (17) (Cheeky Parade).

Another one of those very few J-Pop Idols that I like to…., but I don’t want to get into that. In New York City I couldn’t stop yelling her name during and after their concert there. I like to call her my J-Pop girlfriend

I don’t know why Cheeky Parade doesn’t do any swimsuit photo shoots, SUPER GiRLS do it. I would love to see her in a bikini.5. Ai Negishi (22) (PASSPO).

I like her smile, she should smile all the time. When she doesn’t it makes me feel awkward. Anyways she’s just so adoreable and beautiful.3. Yuki Kashiwagi (23) (AKB48 and NMB48).

She’s been doing this from the beginning, I don’t why I haven’t mention this before til now. Now and then not very often, when she dances. She tries to be cute and it just looks silly and funny.2. Yurina Kumai (21) (Berryz Koubou).

Berryz Koubou will going on indefinite hiatus (Disbandment if you ask me) this March, when they do I hope Yurina keeps busy. Like a Photobook or a solo video she hasn’t done any of those for a while. Even better a solo single she can sing pretty good.1. Haruna Kojima (26) (AKB48).

AKB48 upcoming single she and Yuki Kashiwagi will be center for the single, that’s amazing my 2 favorite AKB48 members. I just hope it’s a great single, even if it’s not. They’ll make it great.Average Age – 19.52 Years.

My Top 20 Favorite J-Pop Groups.

20. Team Syachihoko..

My interest in them as diminish a little, still a very entertaining group.19. Fairies.

I think they’re more Pop than Idoly, who’s more focus on the dancing more than anything else. They are great dancers.

18. 9nine.

They haven’t release anything lately as far as singles or albums, I hope they do soon. I like their music alot, if nothing else.

17. Babyraids Japan.

They’ve change their name to “Babyraids Japan” from Babyraids, earlier this year. Why I don’t know, we all know their Japanese. I prefer just Babyraids. I’ve been following them since there first single, which I don’t think sold more than thousand copies. Their sales have gotten higher with each release, and they’re just starting to gain momentum. This could be a big year for them.

As for J-Pop Idol groups who I want to see, they’re very near top of the list. If not at the Top.

Rena likes “Babyraids” also.

16. C-ute.

They sure have very dedicated fans, their singles sales are stronger than ever. If not more so. I could never stand why C-ute sales are almost twice as much as Berryz Koubou.15. Yumemiru Adolescence.

I just love this group and all it’s members.

Karin Ogino The Leader, my girlfriend in the group. Akari Yamada, who’s just absolutely beautiful. Yuumi Shida the member with sex appeal, who’s really cute. Rei Kobayashi who looks like she likes to flirt, and at times seems abit stuck-up in a good sexy way. Kyouka, well thet don’t get any cuter than her. I would die to see this group, maybe not. I really would love to see them.

11. Tokyo Girls’ Style.
They say they won’t be doing anymore Idol festivals events, exactly what they mean not to sure. I think they’re making the right decision, although I don’t think it’s best for them. I think they want to be taken more seriously. I never really considered them to be an idol group, the way an Idol group should be. Maybe that’s why I find them kinda boring at times, they take their music and dancing to seriously.10. HKT48.9. Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku.8. PASSPO.

Makoto Okunaka graduated from the group on January 1st, of this year. Which is to bad for me I like her, she was a cutie.7. Idoling!!!.

As far as I’m concern not any Idol groups, have as many pretty members as they do. I just love the Hashimoto sisters Kaeda and Ruka, especially Kaeda. Who I find very hot.6. SUPER GiRLS.

I hope they don’t think I was some kind of a creep. After their New York City concert in October of last year, I kinda followed them and stood around for a while. Til I had the nerve to talk to them and ask if I could get my picture taken with them, they were so eager to please. They were alot of fun and very playful, I just mainly remember Hina Nagai she was the one most eager to please.4. Morning Musume.

Sayumi Michishige graduated in November of last year, they’ve added 4 new members. I like what I see so far.3. Momoiro Clover Z.

Last year in November, they were in Las Vegas, USA. To do the music video for the vs. KISS single, Damn if only I knew. I was in Las Vegas also at the same time.2. Berryz Koubou.

They’ll be going on hiatus after their concert at Nippon Budokan on March 3rd, of this year. I hope this ain’t the end for them, but it’s not looking good.1. AKB48.

Cheeky Parade Concert in New York City.

On Sunday October 12th, Cheeky Parade did a concert at Time Square in New York City. They perform for about 30 minutes, I think they did 6 or 7 songs. They were very energetic and alot of fun to watch. After the show they did some photo shoot in Time Square around the stage they were performing for about 10 minutes, took some pictures. After that they started to walk to their tent, I guess it was. A few people were following them I thought they were fans of theirs, so I followed along. Then I realize they were staff members of the group, they probably thought I was stalking them. Oops… Sorry, I guess I better leave. Before I left I asked if I could get my picture taken with the group. They said yes, so I had a few pictures taken with the group. They were all very friendly and alot fun, to be with. They were all so cute. Then it was Bye Bye Cheeky Parade, Thanks for coming. All and all it was a great experience.
