Since they graduated in latter half of last month, I’ve decide to include Haruna Kojima and Kei Jonishi this month. This will be the last for both of them in this ranking.

30. Rika Nakai (NGT48 – Team NIII).

With Aika Oota graduation last month a spot open up, so comes Rika Nakai NGT48 center. I’ve been following her for quite a while now I think she’s really cute, right now not including Yuki Kashiwagi and Rie Kitahara she’s the only member in NGT48 I find sexual appealing. I was surprise to find out how old she really was, I thought she was a lot younger. I also like her cause she’s not afraid to show a lot of skin.29. Ranze Terada (Nogizaka46 – 2nd Generation).28. She’s also the manager and a member of AKB48 newest sister group “STU48”, where their theater is located on a cruise ship. Nana Okada is also a member of this group and also the captain of the group. I always wanted to take a cruise in Japan, have to mention this to one of my friend. Maybe next year.

She graduated from HKT48 on April 10th, although I like her a lot and enjoyed following her. I really found her kinda hard to follow the last year maybe 2, she really brings fond memories in my early days as a AKB48 fan. Yeah, her and Mayu.

The Undisputed number one favorite member of all time graduated from AKB48 on April 19th, on her 29th Birthday. I know I should be doing some kind of tribute, but I’m not really good at that kind of thing. I wish her the ” Best of Luck”. Will continue to follow and support her, I will guarantee that.

With her graduation Minami Minegishi remains the only original member.

I still her remember the first time I saw her, although at the time I didn’t know who she was and who AKB48 where. I was just getting into J-Pop at the time.

She’s Keyakizaka46 center, I’ve been checking her out quite a bit the last month or two. I really do like her she seems so sweet and fresh, very recently I’ve just notice she kinda looks like and reminds me of former AKB48 member Haruka Shimazaki.28. With Haruka Shimazaki graduation late in December of last year, it opens a spot. So enter Ranze Terada she’s someone I’ve like her for a while now, she has come close to ranking here a couple of times before (Before I change my mind in the last minute). I first saw her early last year about the same time keyakizaka46 release their 1st single, at first I thought she was a Keyakizaka46 member. I was hoping she was, then I would have been checking out Keyakizaka46 a lot more than I was.

For the longest time when I made this the “Top 30 Favorite AKB48 Family Ranking”, for the longest time I only had 2 a few times (I think) only one member. For a little while now I’ve had 5, then their’s Yuria Kizaki a former SKE48 member. But Suuchan is a former AKB48 member who’s now in SKE48, so I guess they both cancel each other out. Some say she’s boring but at times she tried to be entertaining (or funny), you could sense it was all an act it just wasn’t in her personality. Unfortunately I won’t be including anymore SNH48 members or any of their sister groups, which is too bad. So many cute members there.

30. Yui Kojina (HKT48 – Team H).

She kinda reminds me of Anna Iriyama, just like Anna Iriyama it kinda took a while for me to notice and take an interest in her. Unlike Anna Iriyama who I just didn’t really like or didn’t find to attractive in the beginning, whenever I  saw her she always caught my eye, made my head turn but for some reason I just couldn’t get interested in her. I think it might have had something to do with her name.

In my opinion I think she has the most beautiful and perfect body in the entire AKB48 Family.

29. Haruka Komiyama (AKB48 – Team 4).

She’s someone who I’ve taken an interest in for almost a year now, I guess. I think she’s super cute and super sexy, who I enjoy looking at in a bikini.28. Nao Furuhata (SKE48 – Team KII).

I didn’t like her in the beginning she tended to always overshadow Ryoha Kitagawa, she still does to a great degree. I’ve always thought if it wasn’t for her, Ryoha Kitagawa would be a lot more popular. I’m long over thinking that way, not completely but that’s another story. It’s been about a year now that I’ve really gotten interested in her, I don’t know about this I think the reason I’m kinda liking her is that I think she looks like a porn actress.27. My Favorite Members In The AKB48 Family, September 2016.

I’m a bit late on this, this will likely be the last time I’ll include any SNH48 members. Since they declared their independence from AKB48, a few months ago in June. Regardless what happens I like the group and it’s members and will continue to follow them, wait they probably won’t be doing any AKB48 stuff. I don’t think like the way their management is running the group there. Then again I could say the same thing about AKB48, but I’m not going to get into that. Right or wrong, legal or not, I’m kinda glad they’re leaving AKB48. I though they were to good for them, I just hope the people in charge treat the girls good. When you really think about it, this ain’t really to surprising. You could see some signs that this was bound to happen, as early as last year.

I’m not really sure what’s going on with that SNH48 leaving AKB48 thing, will have to do some research on it. Which might be tough since SNH48, is not very good at telling us exactly what’s going on.

For this months ranking I’m going to make very few comments, instead I’m going to rate the girls on how cute I think they are, sex appeal and how attractive I think they are or how much they attract me. This really has nothing to do on how I rank them, so this really is irrelevant. Don’t take to seriously, it will interesting doing this more than anything.

I do this twice a year in January and July, because I went on a 2 week vacation last month. I’ve decide to this in August, I did the same thing in 2014.

My Top 25 Favorite J-Pop Idols, singers, or whatever. These days the definition of it can be very vague.

25. Haruna Ogata (Morning Musume).

When I went to see Morning Musume at Anime Matsuri in Houston earlier this year, believe it or not she was the first one that caught my eye. I always thought she was kinda cute, seeing her in person was I thought she was just super cute.

And she also looks really good in bikini.24. Honoka Akimoto (Team Syachihoko).

I was really into her I guess for a couple of years or so, then I just lost interest in her. Earlier this year I’ve started to get back to kinda following her, she’s just as fun and funny and beautiful as ever.23. Karin Ogino (Yumemiru Adolescence).

Very few idols I enjoy following more than her, even when my interest in Team Syachihoko was diminishing which it was at one time. I was always checking her out. 20. Babyraids JAPAN.

I’m starting to find them a little boring to follow, I hope this changes. I really enjoy this group.19. Tokyo Girls’ Style.

Ever since they became a 4 member group, it seems they’ve been doing less activities. But, they are releasing a new single “Shinkai” tomorrow.18. Team Syachihoko.

My interest in them has started to pick up since earlier this year, after it was declining a little bit for a while there. Yuzu Ando is still on indefinite hiatus, I hope she comes back soon. Or, that she comes back all.17. C-ute.

They’ve announce they will disband in June of next year, that’s like almost a year from now. So, I won’t really say anything about this just yet. They’re sentimental favorite of mine, so this is shitty news.16. 9nine.

Just when I was really staring to get into “Umika Kawashima” earlier this year, she graduates on July 23rd. I really like 9nine even before I really thought anything of her, cause I really didn’t before. So this shouldn’t really matter, I think it will. I will definitely miss her, for a while a couple of months ago. She was probably the J-Pop idol I was fantasizing about the most.15. Fairies.

Whenever theirs an Anime Convention here in North Amierica, I’m always requesting them to invite this group. I’ve even requested a couple times for them as guest at J-Pop summit in San Francisco. This group is just becoming more and more sexier, each time I see them.14. Country Girls.

All things being equal, I think they’re very close to AKB48 level. Maybe even little above AKB48. Then again maybe not they’re having great singles sales, it’s a little misleading the same can be said about AKB48.8. Yumemiru Adolescence.

This group has it all, and Kyouka is just developing very well.I think this is very funny them doing the Domobics dance, which Tokyo Performance Doll keep doing at the J-Pop Summit. Or at least this is what I think it is.7. HKT48.

They’re doing more activities this year, last year they barely did anything. I like them, but for the longest time it was hard to find anything new on them. And is Naomi Anzai ever becoming a sexpot5. SUPER GiRLS.

3 of their 4 singles in the last 3 years, have been summer singles. I was going to say find by me, bikinis on the cover. Unfortunately not this year, 3 years ago they didn’t either. Must because of those very young new members.

On June 25th Rina Katsuta and Reira Arai graduated from the group. They lose 2 members added 5 new members.4. Momoiro Clover Z.

They will be doing a concert in New York City on November 19th, I will going to that concert.3. Cheeky Parade.

For now they will be a 7 member group as Marin Yamamoto & Mariya Suzuki, I think will be on a 2 year hiatus to study in Los Angeles, USA. Also going with them will “GEM” member Maya Takeda, I wrote in one of my post she was graduated from the group. It’s not true just like the other 2 she will be just on hiatus.2. Morning Musume.

I guess just before I went to see them in February at Houston for Anime Matsuri, my interest in them was probably as low as it ever was since I started to get to really into them during the Summer of 2012. The decline started around the end of the summer of 2014, it’s not has bad as it sounds. Although it was at the lowest its been since I started following them, it was still a lot higher than almost all the idol group I like. I guess the only bad thing about this was I really didn’t get to know the 12th generation that well. Ever since that time in Houston my interest them has been going up, it’s probably higher now than it ever was. And it hasn’t even reach it’s peak yet. Right now they’re the group I’m paying the most attention too, and this includes AKB48. I said the same thing a few times a couple of years ago, in reality that wasn’t really the case. This time it really is.1. AKB48.

It’s been a long, long while now. I really find them very frustrating to follow, I don’t even know where to start. If anything they have quantity if not quality.

It’s been going on almost forever but I really hate when they have other members from their sister groups on their singles, it was bad then. It’s just getting worse and worse. A lot more I could say what I don’t like, then this go on forever.

Since I don’t have a problem with AKB48 Team 8, I’ll post picture of them.

She announced her graduation on June 18th, I’m not really feeling anything right now. When the time comes I’ll obviously will be more emotional, I’ll wait til then before I say anything more about this.

AKB48 8th Senbatsu Election, Final Ressults.

The final results for AKB48 8th senbatsu election was announce on Saturday June 18th, at Hard Off ECO Stadium in Niigata. That’s along ways from Tokyo, it’s actually where NGT48 is base.

This is were fans get to vote on the members who they want on AKB48 45th single, title and release date to be announce later. 1-16 Senbatsu (Number 1 being the Center), 17-32 Under Girls, 33-48 Next Girls, 49-64 Future Girls, 65-80 Upcoming Girls. A total of 271 members from AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, NGT48, participated in the election. This is the 1st time that NGT48 members have participated in the election. I guess you can included SNH48 also, since Mariya Suzuki is also a members with SNH48. The only members that’s not participating in this years election that’s of any significant to me, are NMB48 members Milky and Kei Jonishi, and Lovetan from HKT48. Yeah, it really sucks.

Several ways you could have voted one of them was buying AKB48 44th single “Tsubasa wa Iranai”, each CD had 1 voting ballot. Which is how I voted, The voting period was from May 31st – June 17th. I was a little worried I was in “Las Vegas” for several days not that long ago, and I had to go pick up the CD at my old address. I voted in time, so everything is good.

I can’t say I was looking forward or really into this election, as I was in the previous elections. But more so than I was in 2013 or was it 2014 can’t remember, were I just really wasn’t interested in that one. I’ve been kinda busy the last year or so, so I’m not really checking on AKB48 as much as before. Actually I’m still kinda checking on the older members quite abit, as for the newer members not really at all. Unless ofcourse I think she’s really super cute or hot. I got a feeling there’s going to be a fair amount of members that made it in the Top 80, that I’ve never heard of.

I had 6 voting ballots, and they all went to no other than “Haruna Kojima”.

First of all congratulations to all the members that ranked, for those that didn’t. Their’s always next year.

I didn’t check to see the final results before doing this so if their’s any surprises, I will be surprise. I’m actually getting very excited now, and maybe a little stress also. A couple of members I like alot could drop big time, I’m hopping it doesn’t happen.

80. Anna Murashige (HKT48 – Team KIV) – 13,058 votes.

She wasn’t guaranteed to ranked, so this is a good result for her.

79. Yuzuki Hidaka (SKE48 – Team KII) – 13,204 votes.

I’m so happy for Myao, I almost forgot she was still in AKB48.

Her 4th election she has participated in, and it’s her 1st time ranking. So she’s happy.

A member who I use to see a lot of, but not anymore. Maybe it has something to do with that transfer to SKE48.

A Team 8 member makes it she’s such a cutie, actually all Team 8 members are all a bunch of cuties. I guarantee she won’t be the only Team 8 member to rank.

I think she kinda resembles Yui Yokoyama, Ok, maybe not.

Here, I go again. I think she’s really cute, but I don’t like her.

When I first saw her name I though it was “Haruka Shimazaki”, that gave abit of a scare. Doesn’t she look like Rena Matsui.

Her 6th election she’s participating in, and it’s her first time ranking. So she’s one happy girl.

I’ve never heard of her, although that’s the first I’ve said that here. She’s not the only one, a few members here already I’ve heard of before.

Regardless of what happens or the situation, she never really drops, or moves up for that matter.

Nothing against her, but what’s with all these HKT48 member I don’t really pay any attention to ranking ahead of Meru. Sakura and Haruka Kodama (You to Sasshi) I’m OK with, but the others.

39. Shu Yabushita (NMB48 – Team Team BII) – 23,251 votes.

It seems like NMB48 is doing pretty well in this years election unlike the previous 2 election, especially last year. Hope I’m not saying that to soon.

3rd year in row she has rank, she moved up 12 spots from a year ago. So that’s good for her.

She drop big time, I must admit I’m very surprise.

Last year she just made it at number 80, she moves up 44 spots this year. 2 years she was at 48 then drops 32 spot the following year.

She’s ranking for the 1st time, sorry to say I don’t have clue who she is. Although she been an SKE48 senbatsu member for their 3 singles.

Here’s an SKE48 member I was really into a couple of years back, then I just completely forgot about her. I actually forgot just how cute she really is, I will be definitely getting back to checking her out. She could become one of my favorite SKE48 members in the very near future, not that it’s saying a lot.

30. Sarina Souda (SKE48 – Team KII) 28,369 votes.

Wow, a lot of SKE48 members in this years election. I should get a total of SKE48 members in this years election compared to AKB48. Last year there were more SKE48 members than AKB48, so it’s nothing new.

29. Nao Furuhata (SKE48 – Team KII) – 28,553 votes.

If Nao can rank this high, why can’t Ryoha Kitagawa.

28. Nako Yabuki (HKT48 – Team H and AKB48 – Team B) – 28,706 votes.

A 1st time rank member, a few members ranking for the 1st time in the Under Girls position.

27. Saya Kawamoto (AKB48 – Team 4) – 29,213 votes.

Finally an AKB48 member, I can say I’ve heard of her. She’s also a 1st member ranking in the election.

26. Rena Kato (AKB48 – Team B) – 29,333 votes.

Oh, My Baby. As been consistent around this position the last 3 years. She’s been moving from the previous elections each time, although very little. But still moving up.

25. Ayaka Okita (NMB48 – Team N) – 29,517 votes .

A 1st Generation NMB48 ranking for the 1st time, this is her 6th AKB48 election that she has participated in.

24. Miru Shiroma (NMB48 – Team M and AKB48 Team A) – 29,983 votes.

She’s hot, and she has big boobs too. A lot of NMB48 members have big boobs, but that’s another story. You got to see her in a bikini.

I don’t know if she’s going to be the highest ranking NMB48 member after Sayaka Yamamoto, I can’t see any other. Regardless NMB48 is doing way better in this election compared to last year when only Sayaka Yamamoto and Milky ranked in the Top 33.

23. Mio Tomonaga (HKT48 – Team KIV) – 31,314 votes.

I don’t hate her, I just don’t know why she always ranks ahead of Meru Tashima. She has ranked in all 4 elections she has participated in (59,27,21,23).

22. Mina Oba (SKE48 – Team KII) – 32,118 votes.

This is good I would have never have though she would rank anywhere this high, I don’t know if anyone has benefited from Group transfer more than she has. Those SKE48 fans must like girls with big tits.

21. Haruka Komiyama (AKB48 – Team 4) – 32,886 votes.

She’s the highest rank 1st time member, in this years election. She looks kinda sexy.

The highest is number 14 by Rina Ikoma during the 6th senbatsu election, I don’t know if she counts. At the time she was a Nogizaka46 member who had a concurrent position in AKB48. So we’ll say Aya Shibata of SKE48 who was rank at number 17, in the 5th senbatsu election .

20. Akane Takayanagi (SKE48 – Team KII) – 33,176 votes.

I’m happy about this, she dropped maybe even kinda big time. She was so high last year, that it was unexpected. So she was likely to drop, I wish she should have made senbatsu. She’s in the top 20 so it’s good.

19. Mako Kojima (AKB48 – Team 4) – 33,524 votes.

I know this Team 4 member, I’m a little surprise about her making the Top 20. Ok she was at 26 last year, at 36 the year before. So she had a chance, still surprise. I didn’t think she was this popular.

18. Anna Iriyama (AKB48 – Team A) – 39,894 votes.

She really does have beautiful hair.

17. Minami Minegishi (AKB48 – Team K) – 40,011 votes.

She was so low at the 1st day results at number 65 I was really worried, But she’s Under Girls Center. She’s Participated and as ranked in all 8 senbatsu election, her ranking as been very consistent. She’s been as high as number 14 and as low as number 22.

I was hoping she wouldn’t drop (kinda big time to) but she did, although I’m not really surprise. At least she made senbatsu, and she also he announced her graduation here (Again not really surprise). For the last several months now, all the signs were there that this could happen, I was hoping not. I don’t want to talk about this, just yet.

15. Juri Takahashi (AKB48 – Team 4) – 40,648 votes.

Wow, I’m so glad about this. I though she had a chance at a Top 20. But not senbatsu.

14. Nana Okada (AKB48 – Team 4) – 43,318 votes.

How the hell did she become so popular so fast, in the last election she has ranked 51,29,14.

13. Mion Mukaichi (AKB48 – Team K) – 47,094 votes.

I though a Top 20 was a possibility, I never imagine her ranking this high.

12. Rie Kitahara (NGT48 – Team NIII) – 50,190 votes.

The Captain of NGT48, I was hoping she would ranked higher than this. In the 8 senbatsu election she has participated in on 5 occasion she has been ranked between 11-13 spot.

11. Yui Yokoyama (AKB48 – Team A) – 58,610 votes.

I can’t believe she drop out of the Top 10, I don’t know why. She’s only been there once, and that was last year.

10. Tomu Muto (AKB48 – Team K) – 58,624 votes.

Wow. She’s improve her rank in every election she’s been in, I didn’t think she would make Top 10. What’s next for her, Top 5. She has ranked in every election she has participated in (49,45,24,16,10).

I think she’s the sexies girl in the AKB48.

9. Haruka Kodama (HKT48 – Team H and AKB48 – Team K) – 60,591 votes.

This is a surprise for me, which I’m happy about. I expected her to make senbatsu, but not Top 10. That should been for next year.

8. Haruka Shimazaki (AKB48 – Team A) – 68,126 votes.

She moves up one spot, from last year. That’s the good news.

7. Akari Suda (SKE48 – Team E) – 69,159 votes.

What happen to her last year she moves up big time this year, from dropping kinda big time last year. This is what should have happen last year. I know she’s very a popular member in SKE48. Still, I’m surprise she’s rank this high.

6. Sakura Miyawaki (HKT48 – Team KIV and AKB48 – Team A) – 78,279 votes.

You just know she’s going to have a “Break Through” one year, in this election. I’ve been waiting for it the last 2 years, it didn’t happen this year. The good news is she improved one spot from last year.

5. Yuki Kashiwagi (AKB48 – Team B – NGT48 – Team NIII) – 92,110 votes.

Who would have guess or predicted this, not me. This is the lowest she has ranked, since the 2nd senbatsu election. What happen to all those NGT48 fans.

4. Sayaka Yamamoto (NMB48 – Team N) – 110,411 votes.

This is very good rank for her, I think this the highest she could have ranked.

3. Jurina Matsui (SKE48 – Team S) – 112,341 votes.

Talk about “Break Throughs”, maybe not. Then again, this is Jurina we’re talking about.

This makes me wonder if their’s some kind of battle going on between SKE48 and NMB48, so far SKE48 has won every time.

2. Mayu Watanabe (AKB48 – Team B) – 175,613 votes.

Mayu gave it a good fight, but she fell just short. She’s the only member who’s rank in the Top 5 in all 8 senbatsu election.

With Minami Takahashi graduation, last month a spot open up. Natsu is someone I’ve considered and wanted to include here for the longest time, so finally I decide to include her here. Their were other members I considered, maybe not. Maybe 1 or 2, but it was like I’ll just put them here to fill this up. I guess in a way it was like that with Natsu, no that’s not true. I think she’s really pretty, and been liking her alot for a long time now. To me she has the most sex appeal in HKT48.29. Minami Minegishi (AKB48 – Team K Captain).28. Juri Takahashi (AKB48 – Team 4 Captain).27. Miori Ichikawa (NMB48 – Team BII).

I haven’t really seen much of her the last couple years, not from not trying. I’ve seen what seems like some recent pictures of her, she looks gorgeous and more mature. Before she was way to cute, for me to see her like that. I hope I see and they show more of her, cause I really want to move her higher in the rankings. Still no date when she’ll be graduating from the group, but I think her last handshake event was today (May 29th). She cut her hair short again, a few weeks ago. Unlike last time, she actually looks good with short hair this time around. I still like her better with long hair.5. Meru Tashima (HKT48 – Team H).

1. Haruna Kojima (AKB48 – Team A).* Haven’t done this before even though, I wanted to. This may give you a better understanding of this ranking.

A really big gap between 1 & 2, same with 2 & 3. Really no gap between 3 & 4, I could have gone with something like 3A, 3B with that. It’s very, very little but their’s abit of gap 4-5. 5-6 Not much (larger than you may think), 6-8 are all very close it could go anyway between the 3. 8- 9 a very large gap, 9-10 not noticeable, but their is a gap. 10-15 are all very close, 15 is slowly separating away from that group. 15-16 large gap, but not as large as before. 16 & 17 (or Sasshi & Kitarie) are basically inseparable or equal, Ok. Sasshi might have a slight edge (She’s always had a slight edge). 17-18 kinda big gap, it’s getting smaller with time. 18 & 19 no gap although it’s just matter of time when 19 (Zhehan Wu) will distance herself from Ryoha, how far Zhehan Wu will go and how fast only time will tell. Highly unlikely, but a possibility she has chance at challenging for the Top 10 at the end of this year. I’ve been following SNH48 on a regular basis, for more than a good year now. With no end in sight, if anything my interest in SNH48 is increasing. And the fact that I think she looks like Yurina Kumai, will go a long way. Hey if she didn’t go on hiatus, way back on September of last year SNH48 JiaMin Zhao (12) , would have entered the Top 10 a few months ago. 20-24 if any gap very small, same with 24 & 25, and 25-27. 28 -29 really no gap, 29-30 might be a bigger gap than I think.

Although Aki Takajo graduated in February, she was to continue doing AKB48 events til the end of May. I’ve said I was going to continue to ranked her til that time, will I change my mind. I won’t be ranking her anymore, so it left a position for someone else to come in here. 2 members I considered it was very close between those two, I choose Juri for no reason except I felt like it.

She’s been ranked her before, but not since I’ve change this to the AKB48 family ranking (It used to be just AKB48 members). More than a couple of years ago, back then she was so cute and kinda funny looking, now she’s kinda hot looking. Back then I could not imagine seeing her in a bikini, now she looks really hot in it.
